  • A trip down memory lane...

    While Galactic Civilizations is being written completely from scratch, there was an OS/2 version of GalCiv years and years ago (released in October of 1994).

    Here's a screenshot of it:


    The graphics are pretty yucky but in 1994, most games were 320x200x256 colors (ah weren't those the days).

    Things have sure changed over the years!

    Now you've forced me to reboot in OS/2 only to go on yet another GalCiv spree.

      Actually the graphics could be worse. In 1994, I didn't even own a comp (I had sold my Amiga in 1991, and didn't buy a Windoze Pc until 1996), so in that year these graphics would have been amazing for me.
