    Just look at the recommended specs for Civ:BE and use that to guide you. There are also several good websites for lap top reviews which can break it down by size, price, and performance.

      That top ten list is current as of Nov 1 so it should give you a good idea of what stuff costs and what are the highest rated systems right now. The Dell will just barely run Civ:BE so I'd spend the extra $100 and get the Lenovo. That should fit what you said you wanted and be a system you can keep using for a couple of years without any big trouble getting stuff to run.

        i think laptop is better than desktop it can easily carry i consume less electricity.

          What personally i think is we can't compare laptop and desktop as both have their own advantages. I f you are hard core gamer and used heavy graphic and ram hungry photo editing softwares then go for desktop. If you do frequent browsing, watch movies laptop will be do for you.

            for gaming and other strenuous work related activities, Desktop. For other stuff, laptop.
