So far, I really like this, very interesting concept.

The other criticism I have is that the point balance seems off. Leino scores a goal on one shot on goal, earning 27 points for me. Kronwall has an assist, 2 PIM, and 2 SOG; Alex O an assist and 5 SOG. They both earn 35. Goals should be worth more than assists, and PIM should be negative, if anything.

Yeah, the point values are a bit off. But it's kind of nice because it does let me pick players differently than I would in Yahoo. For instance, players who hit more are worth more also. If a guy gets in 5 hits a game, that's 10 points.

And if you ever have a player who gets one of those 20-PIM penalty plays, you feel gleeful with the feeling of JACKPOT

BTW, there's a live scoring tracker (which you still need to refresh, it's not like Yahoo). Still quirky I think, since it's been frozen for a couple hours tonight. But it's pretty cool:

EDIT: or hits, for that matter. The box score on ESPN credits Ovechkin with ten (!) hits tonight, but I don't see any hits credited to anyone in live scoring. Seems they only do that at the end of the night.

Yeah, it's frozen. But no one has any hits tallied; for some reason, they appear to add them in later.

It seems the three of us are separating from the rest of the pack. Snoop shares a couple players with you, and a couple other ones with me, so it's not a surprise.

Yep, that is usually what happens as the season goes on. Teams get more and more similar as people see who is scoring the most TSNP/g and gravitate towards them.

I should regain #1 today, I've got 3 guys playing, including Gaborik. I was short two men last night while both of you (IIRC) iced full rosters, so I'm happy I got as many points as I did.
