Just following conventional wisdom here, getting his RB2 locked in. The top QBs are gone, and Thomas Jones' (top 'Actual' RB) playing time is in question. One can make a case for Boldin as WR2...

I'd propose Ronnie Brown over Marshawn Lynch. I don't like the idea of giving 3/4 of a guy as a BAPAY, especially an intelligent BAPAY, unless he's much better than the other, and Ronnie's probably better than Marshawn as it is in a catch league.
RB2 over WR2, certainly.

I know he'll be suspended, but not for that long and he should be pretty valuable once he returns.

Well, Jones is the top RB. Playing time in question, but led the AFC in rushing, so you gotta figure he's gonna get touches.

Next is Lynch, who is gonna miss the first three games.

Next is Lendale White, which is really surprising, and I think it unlikely for him to repeat that performance.


WR-wise, it's Boldin, then Antonio Bryant (who may miss the first week with a knee), then TO.


I think if we're talking best player available, it would be Boldin. But Jones would be a high-risk, high-reward pick.
