Ok, yet another scrambled thread, what i was looking for was sports movies that we have enjoyed.

I wish I could find on DVD, Fight Black Kings, it is a documentary on 4 martial artists heading to the real deal Bloodsport.

Its a great film, I found it on VHS but am pretty sure the quality would be terrible.

Humor... I like Waterboy, Bull Durham and Major League.

Sports drama... Hard to beat Rudy. Imagine... a hobbit playing football at Notre Dame in their heyday...

Didn't care for the waterboy. Funny thing is I don't like most football movies, but like a lot of baseball movies. But in real life I like football, but don't care for baseball that much.

Major League and Bull Durham are greats. I catch them every time I'm flipping through channels and I see them on tv.

Another movie I enjoy, though I don't know why, is Blue Chips. Horrible title for the film, I think it would have done better had it not been for the title. I'm not sure what I enjoy about it. The acting by Shaq is really, really bad. The humor by shaq is a bit corny, but it's an interesting story. And it has Al Bundy in it.

I'm going to add: North Dallas Forty, The Longest Yard (Burt Reynolds, of course). I also like A League of Their Own.

This is where Dis fails at movies . Rocky I was a movie about a big, dumb, sweaty guy whose breaks out of a loser existence by sheer dumb luck and determination and tries to woo a girl throughout.

It really was less about boxing and more about life for those who don't have it all (as in certain parts of Philly). That's why Rocky I is a classic and Oscar winner and the rest aren't.
