  • Wow, what a comeback. I'm devastated.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
RIP Tony Bogey & Baron O

Fair is fair. They've been bugging us for years.

            • The irony of FOX News being bugged is hilarious in light of the phone hacking scandal.

It's wrong for the government to bug a reporter, but acceptable for a news agency to hack the phone of a teenage murder victim.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Idiot. It's not an admission of guilt, no, because 1. it's inadmissible as court evidence and 2. there is no indication of what crime you'd be incriminating yourself for.

Fox News was completely uninvolved with the phone hacking scandal.

Fox News is owned by NewsCorp, which is a ****ing enormous holding company which happened to also own News of the World, which was responsible for the phone hacking scandal.

And in fairness, it got us the Prince Charles tampon line, so I give it a pass.

Think about the nonsense you're claiming please. If you could only use the 5th if you would otherwise definitely be incriminating yourself then it would be exactly a silent admission of guilt. Which would be a pretty stupid 'right' to have. Please think about it some more and then feel slightly stupid. I'll understand if you don't admit it publicly.

What do you think the public perceives it as when they see a supposed public servant claim 5th Amendment protections against self-incrimination before a Congressional Committee who's duty it is to provide governmental oversight?

                          • Never talk to police. The fifth amendment isn't just for the guilty, it's for everybody.
                            John Brown did nothing wrong.

Everyone in politics. It seems as though in addition to being bad at her job in the absolute best case you could make for her, she couldn't even claim the protection of the 5th Amendment correctly.
