    I'm so sorry to hear that. I knew he was sick. Up until a couple of months ago there was hope that things would work out for him. Then things took a turn for the worse.

    Adam Smith is dead

    It is with great sadness that I inform you that Adam Smith, the Apolyton poster, who contributed to SMAC discussions, independent civ projects (IIUC) and to this off topic forum, passed away, peacefully, at home, this past Sunday morning.

    I had the privilege of knowing him in person and working with him, as well as seeing his posts here. He was a good economist, and, more importantly, a fine, kind, humorous human being. The world is diminished by his passing.
