Are you ready for some FOOTBALL - Final Regular Season Week

Colts LOST to the f*cking BENGALS?
Chargers...
the Colts beat the Bengals earlier this season, but the Colts defense gave up lots of points and yardage to the Bengals offense.
And the Bears managed to hold the Bengals to their lowest yardage total of the year (244), despite losing... also, the Bears offense outgained the Bengals offense in that game.
The Bengals also had a pathetic 2.4 yards per rush in that game.
If only the Bears didn't have the pathetic Kyle Orton throwing 5 INT's that game, they might have had a chance to win.
See the Bears have a GREAT defense (although now injuries are mounting)... Indy has a GOOD defense. A GREAT defense will shut down a high powered offense like the Bengals have (however, you can't do anything about the offense turning the ball over and setting up big plays, which is how Cincy won that game)... a GOOD defense well, will not... but GOOD defenses will be good enough to keep your team in the game so that your #1 ranked NFL offense can win the game for you. Which is basically how the Colts are winning much of their games.
The Colts, if they manage to win the Super Bowl this year, will do it because of their offense but what will be different from past years is that this year their defense is not terrible as it has been in the last few years. The Colts have managed to upgrade their defense to a point where it allows the offense to not worry about having to win every game by scoring tons of points. They can actually relax offensively because they have a defense good enough to contain some of the lesser talented offensive teams in the NFL. However, Indy's defense is not capable of shutting down other high powered offenses like say, THE BENGALS.
Hence the comment, "they are not for real".
I hope this makes sense for the football retards out there.

I corrected your post for ya.
ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!
How the FK was that not intentional grounding? Still inside the tackles, and I don't think it made it back to scrimmage ... bloody idiot refs
Can we get rid of that stupid intentional-grounding-protection rule now? When a QB throws the ball away while being sacked, regardless of technicalities, if there's nobody nearby, it should be grounding
