I have no excuses except getting whooped by good players.
Lets always remember the passangers on United Flight 93, true heroes in every sense of the word!

Fortunately, the NMR didn't lose me any ground in the game. But it's still annoying.

I got cluster****ed over and over and over from the start. I had the downside of being a new player in an arena where most of the other players knew each other and played me off or something. Everything started going well but DAMN CRAIG BRITAIN!

Well, I thought you all would do better than this, but a point to keep in mind for next time. The team tournaments are just that TEAM games. It's one giant cross-gaming affair, where it's not enough to have allies on your board. You need allies on every board, even games where your team isn't represented.

Many of the Yahoos know one another from other tourneys and other Dip clubs. Since so few of us play in other circles, that works against us from the start. I play a few games on Cat 23 and other Dip sites just to get an idea of who's out there and prepare myself for these tournaments.

In this competition my crew was carrying a HUGE red taget on our ass from winning it the last two years, and sweeping the final boards for year one. I'm topping the finals board from the 2001 tourney with a posssible solo on the cards. The Stepsons got pig-piled right out of the gate in this one, but have managed to claw our way back to 5th place.

If any of you fellas feel like doing an old buddy a favor, stick a knife in your local VVCB, LE, DA, and/or TE player. I don't have a TB in my game, and there's precious few of my teammates on your boards. Defiant, you can help mucho by sticking with Ray. Colin, if you can see that England doesn't win, that would vbe swell! Thanks for pounding Egg! I'm sure everyone thanks you for that.

A question about scoring for the tourney:

Do the games finish in 1909? If so, just in this round, or in all rounds? If someone soloes, does that mean everyone else goes out? And is a 2-way draw better than finishing the game in 1909 as the board-topper?

Ruff, I am working on England as we speak, his days are well and truly numbered. As for Egg, it was an absolute pleasure

              Ruff,
I will stick with the Wisconsin boy, however I am in no condition to help, two units left and about to be wiped out, Bacchus, do you know him, is a really good player will finish me off, Ray is about the only one who didn't stab me, but these guys do know each other, no doubt about that. On a fair side, Ray is taking it to Bacchus in a hurry!

things got very very cutthroat in my game...my God, Italy spent every single morning bugging me for over 2 hours straight about how we could work together, a complete waste of my time as he knew full well he was going to stab me

I don't like being jerked around to THAT extent...but it is a shame (and embarrassing!) to see my name at the bottom of those lists as well as TB at the bottom of the team lists

Better luck next time I suppose.

Say, when is the next WM? We don't seem to do as badly in that one.
