King Dhou died today at 04.37 AM in his bed in the Forbidden Palace, in Beijing, China. Royal funerals were done and many international leaders partecipated. The King was buried in the Royal Groveyard of Jixi, in Manchuria.

Sadness is laying heavily over the Empire. We mourn the death of your beloved King Dhou, as he was anot only a wise leader but also a member of the Chinese royal family.
Be assured our doctors have done everything within their abilities to help him, and even your own traditional-medicine-doctors couldn´t do anything but stand by watching...
Our thoughts are with you, people of Manchuria, my people!

The new heir of the throne of Manchuria will be, according to the last wishes of King Dhou, the son of his daughter with the Chinese Emperor: Huang Di, in the hope of peacefully reuniting the Kingdom of Manchuria and the Chinese Empire into one state.

Today both a great tragedy and a great victory took place.
While the AsCon expresses their deepest condolences to the Manchurian people, this day has finally brought the reunification of two countries that belonged together since their foundation!

Today, the border between us has fallen, and we welcome our long lost brothers!

Of course the Manchurian population will be granted the same rights as the Tibetian one, except for the issues concerning the national defence. Manchurian soldiers enjoy a fabulous reputation in China, and we will gladly integrate the existing military into the Imperial Army, Navy and Airforce.

Today the AsCon has completed it´s analysis on the condition of Pakistan and announced the official results:

After intensivly studying the economical, social, political and military situation of the AsCon candidate state of Pakistan, we agreed on the following decisions:
1) Pakistan meets all conditions of the AsCon, and is therefore granted full membership. From this day on, the Republic of Pakistan will take part in all meetings and decisions as well as all actions of the AsCon.
2) The economy of Pakistan is able to cover the basic needs of its population, but needs massive aid to become competitive. The AsCon has agreed on a total economic aid program worth INR 35 billion. A complete list with each member´s share is attached to this document.
3) The armed forces of Pakistan receive INR 5 billion to be upgraded to AsCon standards. After six months from now, Pakistan will be able to take part in peacekeeping missions under the flag of the Asian Confederation.
4) Pakistan enters the AsCon free trade zone. Pakistani citizens will be allowed into AsCon member countries without visum, and all trades roting in Pakistan will be granted favoured status within the AsCon.

To the Flores population
While your dying government has managed to plunge your great country into misery by entering this foolish war on empty ideals, we are here to prevent you from total destruction.
We urge you to drop your weapons, follow the example of the Flores Liberty Organization (FLO), which has honourably fought your former oppressors to spare lives in this war. The towns of Pero and Appleville have been freed yesterday, and at noon the first public market has reopened today. The whole liberated area has been declared Freestate of Peros, currently under the administration of the AsCon. Local elections will be held by March this year, when the whole country got rid of its dictatorship.
The Flores military is asked to surrender to either AsCon or Russian troops. We will of course grant them all rights following he Genevan Conventian, and as soon as this war is over all POWs will be released. As we have heard, our catering enjoys quite a good reputation among your population... Well, the surrendering troops will be supplied by us just like our own military...

Appleton, Freestate of Peros, Mars
When a Manchurian General visited Appletown today, a group of pupils spontaneously invited him to attend the local kid´s choir festival. He said to have been highly impressed by that gesture, as well as stunned by the show.
In an interview he was giving to the local press "The daily Apple" he stated that the Flowerton people are peaceful by heart, and much more talented in cultural affairs than fighting. He was quoted to be hoping for an unbloody end of this war, so that elections could take place soon.
However, the AsCon troops in Flowerton are mostly welcomed as liberators and friend, especially the children are visiting the soldiers regularily, at least because of the good earth chocolate they are given there

Meanwhile the Kingdom of Manchuria is - according to the last will of it´s king - now officially integrated into the Chinese Empire! Due to the sad origin of thÃs event the public isn´t dancing on the streets right now, but most people feel a deep happiness beneath the black shadow of sadness. Finally our brothers have rejoined us!

The official "annexiation" is planned for April this year, so the real celebrations will surely occure by then!

"Unbelievable that this whole area has been wasteland just a few months ago" said a Myanese passer-by asked for his impressions on the progress on the AsCon-Headquarters here. "You can already have lunch in the big restaurant at the entrance hall! Although the view isn´t that nice right now with all those excavators and cranes" he adds laughing.
Right now almost on third of the project has been finished, while the conference building is receiving it´s ground floor right now. Only the great meeting hall in the north is still a huge hole, but also there one can see workers busily doing their jobs.

When the final 400 million INR for the completion were wired today by the Chinese Empire, lead architect Glen Dwight appeared visible relieved. Now the people here look forward to the bright future, especially to the many tourists that are expected when the complex is finished.

NBE surrender, Peace declared once more!
Today the government of the New Boston Empire unconditinally surrended the country to the forces of the Earth coalition.
Immediatly troops from both India and Brazil began the occupation of the New Boston territories, without encountering much resistance (if only for a small group of fanatical who was easily destroyed).

The Flags of India and Brazil are now waving above the old Imperial Palace of New Boston.

On a side note the Boston Tea Party Association have thanked the coalition forces for their help in bringing freedom to the NBE.

Diamoutene overrunned
Lucca - Diamoutene's capital, Russian soldiers are parading through the streets of the city as with a real blitzkrieg they managed to get the control of over half of the country. Bombers who were transported from Earth to Mars during the war bombed the Diamoutenian army while a giant Russian offensive began in the north, while the Diamoutenian were busy in the south fighting against Admiral Zhukuzov troops.
The Diamoutenian leaders were captured yerstuday night befor they had a chance to escape and were forced to surrender to the invading troops.

In the meanwhile Admiral Zhukozov was awarded a prize and promoted to an higher grade for his heroism in battle anf for his leadership.

Flores: the battle is still on

A combined Russian-Chinese invasion of Flores proved only partly succesfull, mostly due to the fact that many Russian divisions were moved out of Flores in order to fight in the Diamoutene's campaign.

Nonetheless air superiority and startegic bombing done by the Russian and AsCon Space Fleet won them the day as they managed to inflict heavy damages to the Floretian industrial capibility and defensive organization.

A Chinese force managed to gain much land in the south by taking the cities of Pero and Appleville. and are very near to strike into Flowerton itself, The Chinese advance was helped by a militia of Floretian rebels.

The Rebels have even asked the Chinese and the Russians to help them establish a democratic government in Flores.

Terrorists behind the US Moon Base tragedy?
According to an investigation of the CIA it is believed that behind the attack to the Nimitzian tower there is a terrorist group called "Desdemomium" in the meanwhile a first man, with Senegalese passport, was arrested and transfered to Guantanamo.

The reconstruction have already began in there with a new big project.

Project Jupiter over
The first AEU base in amalthea was finally established, many scientist have moved there in order to do experiments.

The WAF base in IO should be completed soon as well.

Yes, peace has come to the planet of war. Brazil is no longer at war with the New Bostonians.

Yesterday, at 11:03 PM BT (Brazil Time), the President of Brazil and the leader of the Provisional Government of New Boston signed a treaty officially ending hostilities between the two countries. Friends and family are looking forward to the return home of their fathers, brothers, sons, and fishing buddies who were called upon to serve their country. Of course, many have fallen on the beaches of New Boston, and many more are held in prisons within that country, but in the case of the latter there is still hope on this side of eternity that they will be able to make it back to those they hold closest.

Soccer Riot in Brasilia Claims 13, Many More Injured

This weekend friendly team rivalries became heated when, for reasons unknown, fans of the two teams began violently assaulting each other with anything they could get their hands on, and even their hands themselves. Riot control police and a local unit of the Brazillian National Guard managed to break up the fight involving approximately 75,000 fans, but not before 7 men were killed and several more were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries. Before the night had ended, 6 more had been taken by death, bringing the total thus far to 13.

Soccer riots are not new to Brazil, and in fact are almost as old as the sport itself. This, however, was the most violent outbreak in nearly 38 years, and disaster was averted only with the presence of military officials, riot control police having been unable to restore order on their own. It is thought that the surge in national patriotism and the vigor brought by the announcement of peace, combined with the ever-present fanaticism characteristic of the sport, pushed the fans over the edge.

The owner of the stadium has decided not to press charges for damages against those involved.
