What is your favorite type of Game?

And what would be the ultimate cross over game?

    RTS-TBS
    Adventure-RTS
    Adventure-TBS
    etc?

I think the best cross-over game would be a RPG-RTS-TBS hybrid.

TBS all the way. TBS/RTS is the way to go for cross-overs. Decision making turns, RT (but slow enough so that you can think) battles.

I actually don't really have a favorite type.

Anything from the following would be interesting to me:

      TBS
      RTS
      Adventure
      RPG

What I don't like are Racing Games and most other sports games (soccer, basketball, baseball, etc.)

As for the last posible (The worst with other words) is Adventure
This space is empty... or is it?

I like a lot of genres...sports...shooters...strategy...as for strategy...for some games TBS is better...for other games RTS is better...as long as the game is good...

I like quality games. I have enjoyed TBS, RTS, RPG, adventure, and sports games but I have also hated them. If they are good I will like.

RTS-RPG is probably the best cross over, imho.

                TBS and RPG

To me, most RTS games seem to be different graphics/same game. However, there is the occasional RTS that does interest me. An example being Starfleet Command

I don't think I have any favourite genre of games. Some of the games I like include:

M.U.L.E. (cannot be classified so far)
Archon I & II (hybrid of turn-based strategy and real time arcade action)
UFO: Enemies Unknown (hybrid of real-time and turned based strategies)
Star Control II (hybrid of adventure and action - and I didn't like the action part)
Wizardry VI & VII, Bard's Tale I-III (pure turn based RPG)
                  SimCity (software toy)
                  Omega (ASCII based rogue-like game)
Civ, MoO, SMAC (turn based grand strategy)
Panzer General, Age of Wonders, Warlords I - III (turn based small scale strategy)
