Earlier in the week, two areas of Dina Ceroo (Ceroo City) which are supported on the plate over the sea suffered severe damage with small sections collapsing into the sea.
In the north, the Office of the UN Delegate and the HSBC bank were destroyed as a support pillar gave way collapsing the section of plate into the sea. Luckiliy it was 5:52 in the morning and there were no casualties.
In the port section to the east, another section of plate came loose causing structural damage to the CT (Ceroo Telecom) tower, parts of which crashed into the local KFC (Karakas Fried Chicken).
Catholic priest Georgi Morientes, commented that "it was the fault of the city council, man should not try to defy nature...". Fueling speculation that CETA, (once supported by Morientes) the fundamentalist religious seperatist group from Isla D'Ibia may be behind the incidents- and they they weren't actuallly accidents.
It is widely expected that severe disruptions in communications will continue for the short-term, with the CT tower being out-of-action.
The investigation into what actually happened is continuing, and the authorities are reminding people that it is safe to enter the commercial district and the port area of the city but as always, remain vigilant for any suspisious activity.
Behind the scenes, it is rumoured that First Minister Morgan will proceed with re-instating the Parliamentry summer holiday, despite the crisis overseas in Azan and Western Apolyton, and this trouble in Dina Ceroo.
[OOC: RL we had a lot of rain in a short time after a long dry period, washing away some of my hill and the phonelines, hence the inactivity in the past week and lack of UN thread update, etc].
