Greetings Team Sarantium.

When the save arrives, you will find a stack of 10 units that have been hired by Team Horde. These have been renamed to clearly indicate them as being hired. All other Merc units remain under our own control and neutral (except, of course, the units you've hired that are under your control).

Please understand this was an existing arrangement, and never had a bearing on the units being hired to you. They will continue to remain at your command. You should realize, however, that we will be having to cancel our now-expiring Open Borders treaty soon, as well as the Copper trade. (I believe the latter shouldn't impact you, though?)

Attached is a screenshot of your Merc stack. It can also be viewed at http://apolyton.net/upload/view.php?...0550.stack.jpg if you wish to see it on poly and/or link it into your forums. (I'll keep images in my upload service for at least the duration of the contract; if you want permanent archive copies though, I suggest putting them on your own HD/upload/etc.) They have been moved onto the copper tile as ordered. The necessity of an in-game declaration of war will not allow our units to share tiles for long, however. If you would like the stack to remain on the copper tile as guards, we suggest you move your chariot to a desired location rather than have unit bumping occur. If you would like the stack to move on elsewhere, that can of course be done as well. Please send your orders when you are able - though we understand you may want to wait for your own turn. (And in future, if our stack is not in sight of yours, you might want to wait for us to receive our turn and send you updated information. This can of course be done.)

Copper trade is already cancelled/should be. It expired some time ago, and Beta was cancelling via there end.

I think I looked at the diplo and it showed the trade still going. At any rate, I remember Sarantium saying something to the effect of "we can cancel the copper trade anytime." And the open borders treaty has the set expiration date. So they really can't complain on either count.

So, is there anything in these PMs that might affect the ongoing game?
