Yea, it's helpful if you can just order what you want done, rather than which formers you want doing it... I've noticed that it's somewhat difficult to predict which of my former orders will actually get done, but I could put priorities if I really needed to.
-
No, I sent the formers to carry out your orders without much regard for where the formers actually came from. IT amkes everything so much easier.Did you just have the former with no orders in a square with coordinates near the non-sensically ordered terraformation sit there and do nothing, moving a terraformer to do the non-sense orders?? ARRGGGH!!

I'm just venting frustration. I appreciate the Commisioner's burden absolutely: I'm a large-scale- builder-type player in single-player mode myself.

Lucky, perhaps you should consider the sheer volume of all the orders the commissioner has to carry out, particularly in former operations (it's so bad that GT wants us to disband some formers). The execution of a typo is regrettable, but it's also somewhat inevitable that mistakes will be made.
Leave a comment:
-
In this particular case the typo [ (22.60) ] was there in place of just such a proper indication. I can only think the aquaformer at Metropolis (which had its own clear orders) was used to perform the incorrect operation. I will review your format for the next set of orders, but nothing can save us from unthinking execution of typos. Egregious, and all parties are responsible.
Leave a comment:

Best to prevent that is state your former orders differently. How about doing like I did for JV in the past? Make a list of coordinates with written besides those the terraformations you want there. When I was Commissioner, those were easied to follow without making any mistakes (I think).

D'oh!! I'll double check my orders against my copy of the save- this strikes me as a poorly coordinated/mis-played version of my orders!! The land to be raised was supposed to be to the south-east of CAPRICORN!! My orders have a mis-print... that raise was supposed to be from (26,60)!! Did I even have formers at (22,60)? Did you actually move a former to follow out the typo-ed order?? ARRRGGHHH!!! FEEL free to THINK a little!!! Did you just have the former with no orders in a square with coordinates near the non-sensically ordered terraformation sit there and do nothing, moving a terraformer to do the non-sense orders?? ARRGGGH!![11:09] (GT^Commish> Lucky gave orders to raise land near Capricorn, and I did so, but this left a sea
former stranded in Metropolis.
[11:09] (Method>
[11:09] (Evangelion-Freak> :\
[11:09] (Method>
[11:09] (Maniac> sea former?
[11:09] (GT^Commish> So, now what?
[11:09] (GT^Commish> Yes.
[11:09] (Method> disband it for its mins, i guess
[11:09] (Evangelion-Freak> oh fark
[11:10] (Method> it can't move at all?
[11:10] (GT^Commish> Have to do that next turn.
[11:10] (GT^Commish> No, it can't.
[11:10] (Maniac> He made a sea base land?
[11:10] (GT^Commish> No, he took away a port.
[11:10] (Evangelion-Freak> Is that even possible?
[11:10] (Evangelion-Freak> (@ Maniac)
[11:10] (GT^Commish> Yes, it is.
[11:10] (Maniac> Err, yes that's what I meant.
[11:10] (Maniac> Of course.
[11:10] (Evangelion-Freak> I see
[11:11] (Maniac> I had it once the AI raised land near my Pirate HQ, making it a land base.
[11:11] (Method> i've had an earthquake strand a boat before. you can at least use it for artillery

[11:11] (Method> but with a former....
[11:11] (GT^Commish>
[11:11] (Evangelion-Freak>
[11:11] (GT^Commish> We'll have to disband it next turn.

Don't worry - I had similar problems with my iunternet, and it's sitll much slower than usual. I wonder if the war had anythign to do with this - given that a lot more people are probably using the internet, this wouldn't surprise me...

ARGH. Sorry for not being in the chat or able to post updated orders beforehand. My Internet had some issue, that couldn't get fixed until Monday (it was Sunday my time). After retrying, it finally came up again sometime late today.
I have to read the log sometime (not now, need to do some rapid posting to catch up on ALL my repsonsiblities), then figure out just how bad/good some of those major events were. Thanks for starting the assault before waiting for my prompt, I am all caught up in overpreparing, much as we needed to do for the Civ3 game. We should have attacked as soon as the Hive airforce was vulnerable, and I am glad that was done.

I had a bit of trouble with that; I had to move a lot of choppers back to Egregion to be rehomed, as I kept on accidentally clicking 'go to nearest airbase', which for some reason rehomes them to the base in question as well.
Leave a comment:
-
Yea, I guess that sorta did overshadow the rest of our former ops
And thanks for getting all the JV-built choppers properly rehomed, I don't see any more of those drones around, though I think NA is suffering from one due to a noodle.

A major event you forgot to mention (but is in the log): we had *another* energy crash
I've added it to the first post now.
SorryGreat work overall, though that nut bonus square next to Terminal Dogma *STILL* hasn't been condensor farmed... do you not understand it would produce *10* nuts that way?
I was a bit preoccupied with building the energy park.

A major event you forgot to mention (but is in the log): we had *another* energy crash
... we've got reserves in the 1700s still, though, and with our 1250+ income (up 50%+ from pre-turnchat levels, I'd say that's pretty awesome)... we'll do fine, just won't be able to go quite as rush-wild as I was anticipating (ie being able to simply rush everything over 10 mins every single turn, relegating industry to the task of reducing the cost).
Great work overall, though that nut bonus square next to Terminal Dogma *STILL* hasn't been condensor farmed... do you not understand it would produce *10* nuts that way?
Oh, and I wanted to extend special thanks for so effectively implementing my energy satt and energy park orders... we're already reaping the rewards of the former, and the latter will (hopefully) shine in the next chat. The extensive use of our airforce was also brilliant: turkey shoot or no, Yang has been massively crippled in his ability to hurt us... if we maintain this level of operational success it won't be long before he drops right off the threat radar.
Anyway,

[13:03] (Method> how did it do that? with our naval yard an everything?
[13:03] * GT^Commish has no idea.
[13:04] (Method> BTW: how many crawlers do i have stockiled now?
[13:04] (Method> *stockpiled
[13:04] (GT^Commish> Enough, I'd say.
[13:04] (Method> so....5?
[13:04] (Method> of those 0-2-3*2 trance's?
[13:04] (GT^Commish> At least.
[13:04] (Method> that was fast.
[13:05] (Maniac> Why did you give them a fusion reactor btw?
[13:05] (GT^Commish> Cedayon had them rushed.
[13:05] (GT^Commish> Huh?
[13:05] (Method> oh, uhm
[13:05] (Method> dunno. wanted to make them a round figure
[13:05] (Method> they're 100 mins i think
[13:05] (Maniac> ah ok
[13:05] (Maniac>
[13:05] (GT^Commish>
[13:05] (GT^Commish> You're talking about Aurillino, aren't you?
[13:05] (Method> uh oh.
[13:06] (GT^Commish> Jedinica has more than enough.
[13:06] (GT^Commish> And that's what I was talking about.
[13:06] (Maniac> More than enough what?
[13:06] (GT^Commish> I'll check Aurillion.
[13:06] (Method> oh.
[13:06] (GT^Commish> Crawlers.
[13:06] (Maniac> Ah ok
[13:06] (Maniac> Why did Jedinica need those crawlers again??
[13:06] (Method> projects i guess
[13:06] (GT^Commish> ToE.
[13:07] (Maniac> Ah yes. True too.
[13:07] (Method> old cedayon wants to help out his Centralian Aurillian and Twin Sian friends
[13:07] (Method> for the cloning vats living refinery and nano factory
[13:07] (GT^Commish> btw, our income just skyrocketed now that we have some energy sats.
[13:07] (Method> how much now?
[13:07] (GT^Commish> It's at 994.
[13:07] (Method> how mnay sats?
[13:07] (GT^Commish> 3.
[13:07] (GT^Commish> With mroe to come
[13:08] (GT^Commish> * more
[13:08] (GT^Commish> Anyway, TKG, building projects in DEM hasn't been approved yet, has it?
[13:08] (Method> not yet
[13:08] (Method> we just *assume* that
[13:08] (GT^Commish> And would you like a Robotic Assmebly Plant there?
[13:08] (Method> yes, very much so
[13:09] (Method> in fact...
[13:09] (Method> let me see
[13:09] (GT^Commish> In queue.
[13:09] (GT^Commish> To built next.
[13:09] (Method> what's the Q now?
[13:09] (Method> how many turns on current project?
[13:09] (GT^Commish> 1.
[13:09] (Method> so nothing else in the Q?
[13:09] (GT^Commish> Hovertank crawler (current), RAP, HTC, HTC.
[13:09] (GT^Commish> I can remove the last two if you like.
[13:10] (Method> leave them for now
[13:10] (Method> how are Xan and ZG doing?
[13:10] (Method> and UNPD i guess.
[13:11] (GT^Commish> *BOOM*
[13:11] (GT^Commish> The two Hive ships attacking UNAXB are no more.
[13:13] (GT^Commish> *BOOM*
[13:13] (GT^Commish> Just eliminate a probe team that was the sole garrison of TLH.
[13:13] (GT^Commish> * eliminated
[13:14] (GT^Commish> And also destroyed the garrison of Paradise Swarming for a second time.
[13:14] (GT^Commish> Getting an elite chopper in the process.
[13:14] (GT^Commish> And it would seem that Uang is having a lot of problems with Drone Riots, too.
[13:15] (GT^Commish> * Yang
[13:15] (Method> good for him
[13:15] (Method> probably all the rec commonses and holo theatres he has to scrap due to energy
shortage
[13:16] (GT^Commish> Anyway, TKG: the bases oyu asked about are doing nicely, and I've inserted RAPs
into their ques to be built next.
[13:16] (GT^Commish> * you
[13:16] (Method> hm.
[13:16] (Method> that's fine, as long as we have enough crawlers in JedVri
[13:17] (GT^Commish> We're going to shatter the 1000 mark for income next turn.
[13:21] (GT^Commish> TKG: Stage II or your evil land-raising plan is almost complete.
[13:21] (GT^Commish> * of
[13:21] (Method> splendid
[13:22] (GT^Commish> Just finished a third row of the energy park, btw.
[13:22] (GT^Commish> I can ahrdly imagine the amount of energy that thing's going to produce.
[13:23] (GT^Commish> * hardly
[13:23] (Maniac>
[13:23] (Method> should be 11 on each solar collector and 5 on each mirror IIRC
[13:23] (GT^Commish> Now preparing to cash in that AA we found
[13:24] (Maniac> 8 on 0-1000 level
[13:24] (Maniac> 9 on river
[13:24] (Method> didn't raise it yet?
[13:24] (Method> digital sentience?
[13:24] (Maniac> That would cost too much right now as there isn't a base nearby.
[13:24] (GT^Commish> Photon/Wave Mechanics.
[13:24] (Method>
[13:24] (Method> oh well
[13:25] (GT^Commish> You know, we're only a few techs off from Quantum Mechanics.
[13:25] (GT^Commish>
[13:26] (Method> digital sentience
[13:27] (GT^Commish> f*ck.
[13:27] (Method> *sigh*
[13:28] (GT^Commish> Just tried to use an empath rover against a mindworm boil that was threatening
the enrgy park, and it got killed.
[13:28] (GT^Commish> Luckily, we have another one nearby.
[13:28] (GT^Commish> Goodbye, worm.
[13:30] * Method sets mode: +n
[13:34] -> [GT^Commish] PING
[13:35] (Maniac> Guys, I'm leaving you.
[13:35] (Maniac> See ya.
[13:35] * Maniac has left #smacdg
[13:35] (GT^Commish> cya
[13:37] * The-Gingerbread-Man has joined #smacdg
[13:37] * The-Gingerbread-Man has left #smacdg
[13:38] (GT^Commish> 2280 complete.
[13:39] (GT^Commish>
Energy market crash reduces our energy reserves to 1343.
[13:39] (GT^Commish>
[13:39] (Method> should've spent more
[13:39] (GT^Commish> Another Hive impact ship appeared and destroyed one of our interceptors in UNAXB.
[13:39] (Method> how? still no garrison?
[13:40] (GT^Commish> I rushed it, but ti hadn't appeared yet.
[13:40] (GT^Commish> * it
[13:40] (GT^Commish> Anyway, we now have the ToE.
[13:40] (Method> oh, good.
[13:40] (Method> i thought we did that last time
[13:40] (Method> how much on the tech/turn?
[13:40] (Method> still 2?
[13:41] (GT^Commish> 3.
[13:41] (GT^Commish> We're short by about 300 lab points.
[13:41] (Method>
[13:41] (GT^Commish> btw, NA has temporarily become the highest-producing base we have
[13:42] (GT^Commish> It just got a RAP.
[13:42] (Method> stealing boreholes?
[13:42] (Method> oh.
[13:42] (Method> :P
[13:42] (GT^Commish> Nor rushing DEM's.
[13:42] (GT^Commish> * now
[13:42] (GT^Commish> And our income has now passed 1000.
[13:43] (Method> ok
[13:43] (Method> dance
[13:43] (Method>
[13:44] (GT^Commish> Yang is now only three turns away from being bankrupt again
[13:45] (Method> yay
[13:45] (Method>
[13:45] (GT^Commish> Unfortunately we can't pull off another turkey shoot on him, because his troops
are wisely staying out of range
[13:50] (GT^Commish> TKG: Your evil land-raising plan is now complete.
[13:50] (Method> splendid.
[13:50] (Method> may the evil of industry haunt drogue's dreams
[13:51] (Method> Akiria: so evil, it's almost finnish
[13:51] (GT^Commish> Now, how exactly did you intend to turn the Gulf of Tacticus into TKG Mountain?
[13:51] (Method> lots of formers?
[13:52] (GT^Commish> You'll have to submit some actual orders.
[13:52] (GT^Commish> So it'll wait until next chat
[13:52] (Method> fine
[13:54] * NuclearisWinterius has joined #smacdg
[13:54] * Method slaps NuclearisWinterius around a bit with a large trout
[13:54] * NuclearisWinterius was kicked by Method (Method)
[13:55] (GT^Commish>
[13:55] (GT^Commish> The energy park is almost finished.
[13:55] (Method> goody.
[13:56] * The-Gingerbread-Man has joined #smacdg
[13:56] * The-Gingerbread-Man has left #smacdg
[14:07] * Method pokes Tacticus
[14:07] (Method> update?
[14:07] (GT^Commish> 2281 complete.
[14:07] (GT^Commish>
[14:07] (GT^Commish> A hive Impact Rover appeared out of the fungus up north and destroyed one of our
former teams.
[14:08] (GT^Commish> And it seems we also have a pop near DEM.
[14:08] (Method> i suggest you kill it
[14:08] (Method> no surprises. how much ED?
[14:08] (GT^Commish> And it's unleashed all hell.
[14:08] (GT^Commish> I don't know, I can't see.
[14:08] (GT^Commish> We have Biomachinery, btw.
[14:08] (Method> ok
[14:08] (GT^Commish> Homo Superior was next, wasn't it?
[14:08] (Method> i think
[14:09] (Method> Science poll indicates clear preference for Biomachinery/Homo Superior route. Next
favorite Industrial Nano, then 3rd place for Centaur Psi, unless anyone has any objections.
[14:09] (Method> -Jam
[14:09] (GT^Commish> Yep.
[14:09] (GT^Commish> Well, this should help pay for that Enrgy Market Crash
[14:09] (GT^Commish> * energy
[14:10] (Method> now we have to empath-unit the hell out of the worms
[14:10] (GT^Commish> That shouldn't be hard.
[14:10] (GT^Commish> Success!
[14:10] (GT^Commish> (with the land ones, anyway).
[14:10] (GT^Commish> 440 ECs recovered.
[14:10] (GT^Commish>
[14:11] (GT^Commish> I tried to attack a Locust that was flying offshore with an empath chopper, and
it kicked our @$$!
[14:11] (Method> sure it did. 1:1
[14:11] (GT^Commish> When it comes onto land, we can attack with ground units, can't we?
[14:12] (GT^Commish> btw, DEM BADLY needs to curb it's ED.
[14:12] (GT^Commish> It's at 100.
[14:12] (Method> i guess so
[14:12] (Method> take a worker off a borehole and work an ocean tile
[14:12] (Method> or make an engineer
[14:12] (Method> or something
[14:13] (GT^Commish> I've pulled workers off two boreholes, and that took care of matters
[14:13] (Method> ok
[14:13] (Method> what are they working now?
[14:13] (GT^Commish> They're engineers.
[14:14] (Method> ok
[14:16] (GT^Commish> Okay, the energy park is basically complete.
[14:16] (GT^Commish> Time to start sending up the crawlers.
[14:16] (Method> ok
[14:17] (GT^Commish> Our income just passed 1100, btw.
[14:21] (GT^Commish>
[14:21] (Method> cool. i just found out that DanQ lives not more than 20 mintues away from me
[14:21] (GT^Commish> Yang has now moved another squadron of jets into TLH.
[14:21] (Method>
?
[14:21] (Method> splendid
[14:21] (GT^Commish> Time for another turkey shoot.
[14:22] (GT^Commish>
[14:22] (GT^Commish> He's got AAA tracking units.
[14:22] (Method> i wish we were playing SMAX
[14:22] (GT^Commish> Fortunately, we still killed his garrison.
[14:22] (Method> we could use WAVE on him
[14:22] (GT^Commish> Unfortunately, we wouldn't have that now anyway.
[14:23] (GT^Commish> Anyway, I just destroyed his jet.
[14:23] (GT^Commish> Time for the other units.
[14:23] (GT^Commish> *BOMM*
[14:23] (GT^Commish> *BOOM*
[14:24] (GT^Commish> Yang is now researching Presentient Algorithms, just so that you know.
[14:24] (Method> poor him
[14:24] (GT^Commish> And he's heading for bankruptcy even faster than before.
[14:26] (GT^Commish> And I've no used an interceptor to destroy yet another of his jets on the gorund
at Great Clustering.
[14:26] (Method> cool
[14:27] (GT^Commish> Also used a chopper to kill two mroe Hive formers.
[14:27] (GT^Commish> * more
[14:27] (GT^Commish> This is just sad.
[14:27] (Method> ...for him
[14:27] (Method> bwahahaha
[14:28] (GT^Commish> Also bagged a Hive garrison moving between bases, though he was a bit more
troublesome.
[14:28] (GT^Commish> His military is shrinking *VERY* fast.
[14:29] (Method> excellent
[14:31] (GT^Commish> I think we will have pretty much fulfilled Cedayon's plans for energy sats next
turn.
[14:31] (GT^Commish> We'll have 17.
[14:31] (Method> good
[14:31] (Method> nothing but good news i'm hearing
[14:32] * Method plots to overthrow DanQ's...house
[14:36] (GT^Commish> OH crap.
[14:36] (GT^Commish> There are more Hive troops threatening the energy park.
[14:36] (Method> so much for [22:17:51] (Method> nothing but good news i'm hearing
[14:36] (GT^Commish> IT's basically impossible to prevent them from getting at least one former.
[14:37] (GT^Commish> But let's look on the bright side.
[14:37] (Method> build more sensors
[14:37] (GT^Commish> Three more of Yang's valuable units to kill.
[14:37] (GT^Commish> And I would build mroe sensors, if there was room in our territory.
[14:38] (GT^Commish> They won't work toehrwise.
[14:38] (GT^Commish> * otherwise
[14:38] (Method> true
[14:42] (Method> i'm done. gotta get up relatively early tomorrow.
[14:43] (Method> later
[14:43] * Method has left #smacdg
[14:43] (GT^Commish> 2282 complete (for anyone who's listening)
[14:45] (GT^Commish> Crap.
[14:45] * GT^Commish slaps Evangelion-Freak around a bit with a large trout
[14:45] (GT^Commish> A Believer Misisle Cruiser just attacked Circular Quay and sank the ship that was
guarding it.
[14:51] (GT^Commish> Okay, I think this is about enough.

[12:13] (GT^Commish> And there's a Hive skimship outside UNAXB.
[12:13] (Method> i vote we blow it up
[12:14] (GT^Commish> Okay, going after the worms outside DEM first.
[12:14] (GT^Commish> Odds of victory: 7 to 5 in our faovur.
[12:14] (GT^Commish> * favour
[12:14] (Maniac> is that with empath??
[12:14] (GT^Commish> Yes.
[12:14] (Maniac> wow
[12:14] (Method> still damaged, i guess?
[12:14] (GT^Commish> Yes.
[12:15] (Method> what if we waited?
[12:15] (Method> is there anything it can destroy?
[12:15] (Maniac> can't we bring another south with our magtubes?
[12:15] (Maniac> I presume we have multiple empath units
[12:15] (Maniac> Weren't there some being built in New Tass btw?
[12:15] (GT^Commish> We could bring one in, but it wouldn't make much difference.
[12:15] (Maniac> oh ok
[12:15] (GT^Commish>
[12:16] (GT^Commish> But we could use a chopper.
[12:16] (Method> don't i have...
[12:16] (Method> yes, that
[12:16] (Method> several in UNPD i thought.
[12:16] (Maniac> what difference does that make with the odds?
[12:16] (GT^Commish> Dunno.
[12:16] (GT^Commish> If I brought one in to check, we'd basically have to attack.
[12:17] (Maniac> Air-to-land is 3 to 2, just like land-to-land IIRC.
[12:17] (GT^Commish> Anyway, while we're considering that, I just vapourised the Hive ship with a
chopper.
[12:17] (Maniac>
[12:17] (Method> splendid.
[12:18] (GT^Commish> And I think we have a great opportunity to cause some major damage to Yang's air
force.
[12:18] (Maniac>
[12:18] (GT^Commish> They're sitting in TLH with only a few garrison units.
[12:19] (Maniac>
[12:19] (GT^Commish> If we can dispose of the probe team there and then the Aerospace Complex, it will
be a cakewalk.
[12:19] (GT^Commish> And the odds of our beating their probe team are 2 to 1.
[12:20] (GT^Commish> So, shall we go ahead with it?
[12:20] (Maniac> 2
[12:20] (Method> 1?
[12:20] (Method> 1
[12:20] (Maniac> Do you want to sabotage the aerospace comlplex?
[12:20] (GT^Commish> Yes.
[12:20] (Method> we have to kill their probe first.
[12:20] (GT^Commish> Precisely.
[12:21] (Maniac> Oh ok. I guess our probe teams don't have anything better to do anyway.
[12:21] (Maniac> We do have a aerocomplex in UNAXB no?
[12:21] (GT^Commish> Ok, their probe is dead (just).
[12:21] (GT^Commish> And we don't acutally have one in UNAXB.
[12:22] (GT^Commish> But we do in UNSG.
[12:22] (Maniac> Ok, confused them.
[12:22] (GT^Commish> Ok, going ahead with sabotage.
[12:22] (GT^Commish>
[12:22] (GT^Commish> We succeeded, but the team was lot
[12:22] (GT^Commish> * lost.
[12:23] (Method> i'm running out of colours for boreholes on this map...
[12:23] (Method> i mean
[12:23] (Method>
[12:23] (GT^Commish> Ah well, we will avenge them
[12:23] (Method> i'll have to use squares now instead of circlues
[12:23] (Method> *cicles
[12:23] (Maniac> Just number them.
[12:23] (Maniac> A number in the square.
[12:23] (Method> quite a bit too late for that....
[12:23] (Maniac> Then i'll poll with numbers
[12:24] (GT^Commish> Ok, the two garrison regiments in TLH are dead.
[12:24] (Maniac> Aren't the squares big enouh to write numbers in it?
[12:24] (GT^Commish> Along with one of the jets
[12:24] (Method> i'll see what i can do
[12:24] (GT^Commish> Make that 2.
[12:24] (GT^Commish> 3
[12:24] (GT^Commish> 4
[12:24] (GT^Commish> 5
[12:25] (GT^Commish> 6
[12:25] (GT^Commish> 7
[12:25] (GT^Commish> 8
[12:25] (GT^Commish> 9
[12:25] (GT^Commish> 10
[12:25] (Method> wow
[12:25] (GT^Commish> 11
[12:26] (GT^Commish> 12
[12:26] (GT^Commish> And that's the lot.
[12:26] (GT^Commish> It was a turkey shoot.
[12:26] (Method> white the airforce yang has
[12:26] (Method> had
[12:26] (GT^Commish> The only units left in the base are a pair of formers.
[12:26] (Evangelion-Freak> Whoa... a massacre...
[12:26] (Method> can we land there?
[12:26] (GT^Commish> No.
[12:26] (GT^Commish> No ladn troops.
[12:26] (GT^Commish> * land
[12:26] (GT^Commish> Or marines.
[12:27] (GT^Commish> Anyway, the formers are dead now, too.
[12:27] (Method> what are the commanders in Egregion thinking? we need infantry there
[12:28] (Method> wow 24 boreholes i can fit in there....
[12:29] (GT^Commish> Now killed an artillery regiment that was on it's way to TLH.
[12:29] (GT^Commish> And I'm preparing to shoot down a jet that's flying past.
[12:29] (Maniac> How much turns does it cost to build a borehole with super ability and the weather
paradigm? Eight right?
[12:29] (Method> 8 yes.
[12:29] (Maniac> 8x24=192
[12:29] (GT^Commish> *BOOM*
[12:29] (GT^Commish> Another Hive ejt gone.
[12:29] (Maniac> Two turns with all formers should be sufficient.
[12:29] (GT^Commish> * jet
[12:30] (GT^Commish> Yang just lost two thirds of his air force in a single turn.
[12:32] (GT^Commish> And annihilated the garrison of Paradise Swarming with a single chopper
[12:32] (GT^Commish> I did, that is.
[12:33] (Method> #24 is very sneaky
[12:34] (Maniac>
[12:34] (Maniac> Does it fall off the picture, so people can't see what they are voting for?
[12:34] (GT^Commish> Yang is no doubt regretting the day he ever met us...
[12:34] (Method> not *that* sneaky
[12:34] (Maniac> Is it on Morgan's territory, anticipating the day we conquer him?
[12:35] (Method> sneakier.
[12:35] (GT^Commish>
[12:35] (GT^Commish> We jsut got another AA out of a pod up north.
[12:35] (Method> i fully expect it to be voted down, but whatever...
[12:35] (GT^Commish> * just
[12:35] (Method> ooh, :dancey:
[12:35] (Method> :superdance:
[12:35] (Maniac> Errm, it's on the sea, anticipating another future poll on land raising?
[12:35] (Evangelion-Freak> :superdance:
[12:35] (Maniac> Aha, it's in Akirian borders, of course!
[12:36] (Method> you'll see
[12:36] (Maniac>
[12:36] (Method> http://www3.sympatico.ca/peter_green/2Cboreholes.gif
[12:36] (Maniac> Btw, TKG, do you still have those pictures with the regional borders?
[12:36] (Method> not since january.
[12:37] (Method> or whenever we made solaris.
[12:37] (GT^Commish> You will be pleased to know that the two westernmost rows of the nergy park are
now done.
[12:37] (Maniac> Yes I expect it to be voted down as well.
[12:38] (Method> it *technically* is in heaven's gate radius
[12:38] (Method> maybe it'll get votes from people who blindly vote for all of them
[12:38] (Maniac> But not in the regional borders AFAIK.
[12:38] (Method> yeah, i know
[12:38] (Method> :sulk:
[12:39] (Method> most of these will never need to be done
[12:39] (Method> namely UNRC's
[12:39] (Maniac> Even now a Heaven's Fate worker is working an Akirian square.
[12:39] (Method> shh!
[12:39] (Maniac> Why not?
[12:39] (Maniac> UNRC
[12:39] (Method> too small
[12:39] (GT^Commish> Are you two actually paying any attention to my reports?
[12:39] (Method> yes
[12:39] (GT^Commish> God.
[12:39] (Maniac> Yes With hybrid forests it could grow fast.
[12:39] (GT^Commish> * Good
[12:39] (Method> you're talking about killing the hive and energy parks
[12:40] (Method> er, not *killing* the energy parks
[12:40] (Method> i hope so.
[12:42] (Maniac> Method: i'll send a PM to Voltaire asking if he will still do the orders for next
week, or whether I should do it. I'll also show him your borehole plan.
[12:42] (Method>
[12:43] (Method> meanwhile, 3 more boreholes for Aurillion.
[12:43] (Method> ...to be polled.
[12:43] (Method> people will be so overcome by borehole polls they'll just have to submit to them!
bwhahahahahah!
[12:43] (Maniac> Archaic is on-line right now did you know?
[12:44] (Maniac> I see him as one of my "buddies".
[12:44] (Method> hmph
[12:44] (Maniac> Bah! Bad governor. :q
[12:44] (Maniac>
[12:44] (Method> hmm, people who have me on their buddy list grew to 4, it would seem. :superdance:
[12:45] (Maniac> I have only three, of which one didn't post in months.
[12:45] (Evangelion-Freak> I'm on the buddy list of 15 people the last time I checked
[12:45] (Maniac>
[12:46] (Evangelion-Freak>
[12:46] (Method> on a totally unrelated matter, is D starting the PBEM today?
[12:46] (Maniac> I think so.
[12:46] (Method> i have 5 people, yet only 4 people have me. i feel so rejected
[12:46] (Maniac> I have 55.
[12:47] (Maniac> All smacdg members.
[12:47] (Method>
[12:47] (Maniac>
[12:47] (Evangelion-Freak> The following people have you on their buddy list (24 in total)
[12:47] (Method> no wonder you were able to do those mass PMs
[12:47] (Evangelion-Freak> O_o
[12:47] (Evangelion-Freak> Twenty-four?!
[12:47] (Method> i have regular-four
[12:48] (Method> i still have skanky's avatar-changing hack-ish thing on my notepad from when you
couldn't change avatars on MSIE
[12:48] (Method> so it was skanky's fault all along. no wonder he knew how to fix it!
[12:49] (GT^Commish> Okay, finalyl got aorund to flaming the worms near DEM, and as it turned out
there were some empath rovers in NT, so it posed no problem.
[12:49] (GT^Commish> * finally
[12:51] (Method> http://www3.sympatico.ca/peter_green/skankyavatar.gif look at that. neat-o (don't
tell markos)
[12:53] (GT^Commish> TKG: Stage two fo your evil land-raising plan is now in progress.
[12:53] (GT^Commish> * of
[12:53] (Method> and the forests?
[12:53] (GT^Commish> All done for stage I.
[12:53] (Method> the land is actually counter-productive without the forests
[12:53] (Method> ah, good work
[12:53] (GT^Commish> I know.
[12:54] (GT^Commish> Amazing what you can do with a magtube network and a bunch of super formers
[12:54] (Method> make sure to leave those 3 tiles empty so you don't waste former time
[12:54] (Method> actually....
[12:54] (Method> build roads in the 3 tiles i mentioned, just not forests.
[12:54] (GT^Commish> huh?
[12:54] (Method> i have 3 tiles set aside for boreholes on the new land
[12:54] (GT^Commish> Ah.
[12:55] (Method> 1 for each base
[12:55] (GT^Commish> None of it's been touched yet.
[12:55] (Method> ok.
[12:55] (Maniac> PM sent.
[12:56] (GT^Commish> And btw, has there always been a trawler on 15,95?
[12:56] (GT^Commish> I get the feeling we may have beached one of our trawlers.
[12:56] (Method> i didn't order one to go there
[12:56] (Maniac> near what base is that?
[12:56] (Method> i thought i reminded you to move it
[12:56] (Method>
[12:57] (Method> " move any trawlers herc/maniac/whoever may have around..*hem* operation "Mount
Pizza""
[12:58] (Evangelion-Freak> Added TKG and Maniac to my buddy list
[12:58] (Maniac> Thanks.
[12:58] (Method> bringing your total to...?
[12:58] (Maniac> 4
[12:59] (Evangelion-Freak> I don't know how many I have on it... 24 people have me on theirs
[12:59] (Evangelion-Freak> oh, you asked Maniac
[12:59] (Method> i just use it for quick PMs and to see who's online. though i havn't PMed DBTS since
the days of P4...
[12:59] (Method> no, well..whatever.
[13:01] (GT^Commish> 2279 complete.
[13:02] (GT^Commish> Oh f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck,
[13:02] (GT^Commish> f*ck.
[13:02] (Method> oh f*ck?
[13:02] (Evangelion-Freak>
[13:02] (Method> + several f*ck's?
[13:02] (Method> :scaredance:
[13:02] (GT^Commish> A Hive misisle skimship just attacked UNAXB, and killed the garrison.
[13:02] (GT^Commish> And also killed one of the choppers nearby.
[13:02] (Evangelion-Freak> Uhhhh oh
[13:02] (Method> i have a solution.
[13:03] (GT^Commish> Yes.
[13:03] (Evangelion-Freak> UH OH
[13:03] (GT^Commish> Blow them both to atoms.
[13:03] (Method> sink the damn thing
[13:03] (GT^Commish> Yup.
[13:03] (Method> ....that and capture their port bases
[13:03] (Method> and rush another garrison
[13:03] (GT^Commish> That's a bit more long-term.
[13:03] (GT^Commish> Anyway, on to the next thing...
[13:03] (GT^Commish> We now have Industrial Nanorobotics
