That and the fact that there was no recent discussion over the issue, and I believed that due to the massive difference in both the composition of the electorate and our situation in the game that the previous poll was no longer relevant. Adam actually PMed me about this a while back and I told him a poll would be posted soon. Unfortunatly, with everything that's been happening IRL, the intention to do that kind of got lost.

In any case, I support whichever of Wealth or Knowledge will put us in a better position at that point in time. Knowledge could make it easier to go GA, but even so it might not make as much for us as Wealth would with its +1 Econ. However, you also have to factor in the commerce from Zak we might get by going Knowledge. It's a very muddy mire this.

According to AdamTG's poll, we were supposed to switch to Knowledge once we got Cyberethics from Morgan, but this didn't happen until after the elections, and Archaic has neither implemented the last poll nor posted a new one, though the fact that he's rarely online may have something to do with it.

Firstly, if you're wondering why there is no poll to switch to Knowledge, it's because there's been no recent discussions over if it's a viable option. Once it's discussed, there'll be a poll.

I'm strongly behind switching to Knowledge, both for the above reasons and because it will allow us to cultivate the friendship of Zakharov. The University's research production, combined with ours and the Morganites', would be significant. However, under Welath, Zakharov isn't likely to give us the time of day, much less his latest research findings.

Knowledge. Efficiency is always welcome, as is research (which will be speeded up despite the loss of economy), and it will go nicely with FM assuming people finally come to their senses (although if we an pull off FM + GA in our core bases, then Wealth will do wonders).
