Sn00py, at first I didn't particularly like your graphics...I geeze I better not say that too loud or I might get mugged or something.
But after looking at them for the second time about a month after your release of them I absolutely love them, and I can't stand to look at the horrid graphics of Civ3 now. So what are all of the new graphic changes you plan on making? About the same as last time...trees, grasslands/plains, mountains/hills, etc...plus the city tile buildings. Well, whatever it may be I can't wait to see it! Keep up the great work.
P.S. I"m glad that you decided to rejoin the Civ3 scene.
However, it is difficult to believe that 2 times 2 does not equal 4; does that make it true? On the other hand, is it really so difficult simply to accept everything that one has been brought up on and that has gradually struck deep roots – what is considered truth in the circle of moreover, really comforts and elevates man? Well Snoopy those pines look really cool.
As far as Flood Plains. I live right near some flood plains, I can take pictures if you want. At no point, however, does it ever look like a desert. I don't understand the logic that firaxis used there. Also there are no deserts nearby. The floodplains are more like an area of land between a river and the normal dry terrain. This is in my local area and it may be an exception I don't know. But I can tell you it is very furtile and it is flooded even after a simply rainfall.Yours in gaming,
