The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

Battle report:
Destroyed two CAs. Continued bombardment of Jap fleet, taking a net of 10 hps and losing one Bomber.
Spotted miscellaneous BBs and CAs in the central Pacific... worried about the location of those 8 Trannies. Plans cost too much to steal, so we Allies need to coordinated unit spotting better. The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

How many points are needed to win in this mod to WW II? (I'm fairly sure 45K points is enough to win the SP version)
The weakest point of the Jap Army is their virtual lack of tanks.1st C3DG Term 7 Science Advisor 1st C3DG Term 8 Domestic Minister

There's also quite a few monoliths inside starting cities that having a military unit in produces points each turn.
The capturing a city points is based on population of the city, the killing a unit points are based on cost of the unit, the researching a tech points are based on costs of the tech, and the building a wonder points are based on cost of the wonder.1st C3DG Term 7 Science Advisor 1st C3DG Term 8 Domestic Minister

Where oh where have the Jap Carriers gone? Seriously, I had a DD and Fighter recon screen looking for them wherever they could be... when I didn't find them right away, I checked F3, and lo and behold, the Japs went from six CVs to one!!! No significant losses to the number of Jap Bombers and Fighters, so I can only assume they transported them all homewards and disbanded the CVs!
All I found in the NE Pacific were three rustbucket DDs.
Battle report:
Bombed CA Furutako west of Midway from 4/4 to 1/4.
Bombed another CA to the SE of Midway, from 3/3 to 0/3. Didn't catch the name.
Attacked CA Furutako, sank it.
Bombarded DD Hamakaze in NE Pacific from 2/4 to 1/4
Attacked DD Hamakaze, sank it.
No losses for America. CINCPACFLT awards commendations to various sailors.

So what do we do about the VP situation?
