6 Brave New Souls-new PBEM report

A thread for our "6 Brave New Souls" PBEM game.

Technically, a 7th player was created as first player named Numpty-Deleted which lived up to her (being Isabella of Spain so everyone knows) name on her first turn shame..

Conditions:

No of Players : 6
Civ: Random for all
AI: None

Map: Continents
Size: Standard
Climate: Temperate
Sea: Medium
Era: Ancient
Speed: Quick

On starting your first turn, I would advise hitting "Alt-D" and making sure your email is correct, make any changes to your name and SET A PASSWORD! This will prevent others from taking your turn.

We have now all completed our 1st turns and hopefully game will move along now. Report any updates here.

After I have since installed the 1.09 patch. When it comes to part where I have to input my password and after I do, then click ok, nothing happens. I can keep clicking ok and ditto..nothing changes. If I click cancel, password screen goes away and then initialization completes, screen goes black a sec and I am back to Main Menu!

How do I resolve this? Want to make sure things work before I get turn for this game! Thanks

Chirurgie - same here

I have a PW problem on another PBEM since the patch. Exact same circumstances as Chirurgie and I have an excellent computer.

Yet another patched PBEM game is fine.

Too much of a coincidence, this Password problem is NOT unique to Chirurgie.

ah well. strange is how it affects some players but not others. perhaps something to do with having changed password (which I did on one game but not another though both affected)

I am waiting to hear back from others in group before restarting

As far as I know, people are patched. I have sent out the new "Patched New World" and you should get your turn soon.

pm me your email and we can launch one

when you get the turn simply press ALT & D at same t5ime and enter your server info before the end of your turn and you will have your emails auto sent
