I came to get hints for my early stone age mod for Civ 4, but I have played since the ASCII-version of Empire and all versions of Civ. It has been an on and off affair, I always wanted more realistic trade and less wargaming but still kept coming back to Civ with each new version.Comment

I came for CivII & play CivIII. I still hang around in Babylon and try to play my part in the cIV MP Diplo Game. I will not buy cIV. I've been playing Civ since the first incarnation. I got Civ 2 Gold not long after it came out. Then, around '99, I started looking for news to see if a new Civ game would be coming out, and I came across this site. I lurked on and off for a while before trying to register, but the site wouldn't let me register with my Hotmail account, so I gave up.
I stopped coming around regularly for a while until Civ 3 came around. At that point I came back and lurked semi-regularly. When talk of Civ 4 (wishlists) started up, I couldn't sit back anymore and I eventually decided to try registering again with my Yahoo mail account. This time it worked, and I've been here (off and on) since.
I mostly come to the main message board for whatever the current version of Civ is, and OT occasionally if I'm really, really bored.
