I would have thought Augustus would have preferred Hereditary Rule, being the one who turned the Roman Republic into an empire, after all...

His power was still quite limited though. He probably had less power than Ceaser.

Do you mean Julius Caesar?

I meant Augustus was probably less powerful than Julius Ceaser. Augustus had good relations with the people and Senate because he proposed radical ideas (mostly the same as his uncle's) but did so without severly weakening the Senate.
Another explanation about the Assembly Plant that was suggested on by someone on Civfanatics:
"German Assembly Plant, replaces Factory
Can turn 4 citizens into Engineers, +50% production with coal"
The "+50% production with coal" could mean that if you are connected to coal, you build the Assembly Plant 50% faster (much like Stone with building the Pyramids or Marble with the Great Library).
It would make sense: Coal... trains... building factories faster...
Also, it is confirmed that the Barracks does now give 3xp, the Stables 2xp and the Ger (which replaces the Stables) 4xp. The Mongols should be able to get 10xp Keshiks though with Vassalage and Theocracy civics (3xp + 4xp + 2xp + 2xp = 11xp)... should be able, assuming Vassalage and Theocracy are still the same...
How do we know that mounted units will even get a benifet from a Barracks? We don't. Naval units only benifet Dry Docks. If mounted units get a Benifet from both Barrackses and Stables (Ger) than they would be to powerful compared to other units.
I wa just rereading the preview and noticed that it said the University of Sankore is 550 production, but in the picture it said it was 331 production. Solver, could you clear this up?
