  • N00b question: how do you make markings on the map?

I read there is some kind of tool that you can use to mark the map. How can I use it?

    TIA

Buttons in the bottom left of the screen, above the minimap. You have to zoom out and you click the button at the left:

There is then displayed a list of options above the minimap so you can draw lines, make notes, etc.

Let's pretend to be shocked that a gamer might descend into deeper depression, as his gamer "buds," knowing he was killing himself, couldn't figure out how to call 911 themselves for him. That would have involved leaving their computers I guess."

Zoom out to globe view and go to the strategic layer.

I wonder if I'll ever play Civ4 in my life.

Do you have patch 1.52 installed? It's a new feature with that version. It's working fine on my system.

Oh. I am not up to the patch that because it doesn't work with Hark's memory fix. Ah well.

Supposedly if you have 1.52 you don't need Hark's patch. It does many of the same so I've read. I certainly noticed an improvement from 1.09, though I wasn't using Harks' fix.
