Bug!!!!

I haven't had any success getting Civ 4 to work properly on my system. Since the Radeon 7500 would probably be pretty slow even if it can be persuaded to work at some point, and since I'm not running a laptop (which makes replacing the graphics a whole lot easier), I went ahead and ordered a new card.

I have this same bug -- leaders are invisible except for eyes, mouth, and hair (very distressing), and terrain is black. I can deal with slow, but this? Oy. I'm on a laptop, I think Radeon 7000. I had to wrestle with it for 6 hours to even get the game to load fully, so I'll be quite put out if it ends up unusable.

The package does say "7500" is the minimum, so if you don't have a 7500 with 64MB of memory, or something higher up in ATI's product line, you are probably out of luck. This is why they put requirements on the package.

If you have a 7500 and it's acting up, then bug reports could help Firaxis find and fix problems.
