Wild Screen resolution options

I've managed to get the game to run well enough to be playable at a res of 1024x768 and started a huge world map. After playing a while I desided to try switching to 1280x1024 and THIS (photo attached hopefully) showed up in the options... WTF?

Dude... -1 x -1 supposedly creates a black hole.

Maybe that's why my computer rebooted and "recovered from a serious error" not long after I switched resolutions
