I've run into a new problem recently where after I play for a few minutes my tooltips dissappear. When I quit the game and start it up again the tooltips return, if only for a little while. This problem only started in the last few days. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Quick update, it appears that my tooltips only vanish between turns when the start of turn notices are shown. I suppose I should specify that the tooltips I'm refering to are the ones detailing the funtion of buildings/technologies/units and not the one for terrain. This makes choosing technologies or buildings quite interesting as I'm slow and haven't memorized what everything does yet

What I've done to get my tool tips back is to page out and back (ie WIN key or ALT-TAB).
That seems to reset the tool tips.
My guess is that its memory related, but not sure where.Comment

It's pretty clear that this is a state bug; when tooltips are gone, you get tooltips for terrain instead of, say, the what-to-build window, or whatever other interface thing you're looking at.Comment

Global View Error
I noticed that when I had the Global World View Overlay button selected most of my unit, tech, and building icons vanished. Make sure you don't have it selected.Comment
