Readme for the "Contemporary Middle East" for Civilization 2 MGE by Patrick L. Shephard (Patine)

This scenario is meant to cover the scope of Middle Eastern politics and warfare from 1990 to a hypothetical 2010. The seven available civs
are listed in the introductory text. Each of them is playable, with their own strategies and challenges. The scenario is optimized for PBEM
or multiplayer play, to best utilize the complex diplomatic situations and options available to the region. Below is a summary of house rules
and notes on using the batch files.

House Rules:
-Do not use secret agents to bribe units or insite revolts
-Do not send fighters on suicide runs (they're expensive, in a "real world" sense)
-Do not make peace until your war objectives are complete or you are no longer in a position to pursue them
-Kuwait City should be an Iraqi priority early in the game

Batch File Notes:
-Activate option 1 (Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and the Interrugnum) in the batch file menu before beginning
-At the end of the August 2001 turn, save the game as "ME2" and activate option 2 (the Initial War on Terror) in the batch file menu, then
 reload the game
-At the end of the February 2003 turn, save the game as "ME2" and activate option 3 (the Iraq War) in the batch file menu, then reload the
 game
-when (and if) Iraq is conquered by the US and Allies, save the game as "ME2" and activate option 3 (the Iraq Resistance) in the batch file
 menu, then reload the game
-At the end of the January 2005 turn, save the game as "ME2" and activate option 3 (the Further War on Terror) in the batch file menu, then
 reload the game
-At the end of the May 2007 turn, save the game as "ME2" and activate option 3 (Israel Expands) in the batch file menu, then reload the game
