History of Asia, Part A

This folder contains four scenarios that detail the history of East Asia and the Pacific from 221 B.C., when Qin Shihuangdi
proclaimed the Chinese Empire, till the First World War in the area. However, it notably excludes the era of Mongol expansion,
which forms a gap between the first and second scenarios, and the high feudal era of Japan, which doesn't appear in the second
scenario. These eras are not being excluded for any undesirable traits, just that it will be easier to deal with them as
separate scenarios the way the scenarios in this folder are arranged. In these scenarios, the tech three, wonders, and units
are almost completely reworked, and all civs get a number of unique units until the advent of gunpowder warfare, which tends
to homogenize units. Technology, wonders, and units don't range beyond the World War I level, and even there miss some key
advances of that war, such as tanks, bombers, and poison gas (the Great War in Asia covers principally the limited colonial
campaigns there, though can also lead to infighting among the Russians, Japanese, and Chinese, which could have easily happened).
Note that to make an Events.txt work in one of these scenarios, go into this folder, choose the Events.txt file whose number
matches the one after 'Asia' in the .scn file of the scenario you wish to play, and rename it to just 'Events.txt' with no
number (I highly recommend you name it back after). There will be a History of Asia, Part B, which will cover events from the
beginnings of Japan's rise to power after World War I to a hypothetical 2010. I hope you enjoy these scenarios.
