What's been updated?

1)More trenches along Western Front and Italian Front.

2)Changed some unit grahpics.

3)Added Serbian, Rumanian, German Machine Gun, and Flame Thrower units.

4)Increased the movement of fighters and make their range 1, instead of 2. That way, we prevent someone from camping a recon plane on a trench square and eliminating all possibility of a ground assault.

5)Road movement multiplier changed from 3 to 2. Ground unit movement values increased.

6)Labor Force and Machine Guns are now buildable instead of given through events.

7)Added trade routes and superhighways to Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy to beef up tax rate and science research.

8)Added a lot of railroads to Germany and the Allies in an effort to compensate for AI mistakes when using the GoTo command. Seems to work better, but not 100% perfect... :-(

9)Romania starts under Neutral control, until it "joins" the Allies in August 1916. On this month, Russia should take these Neutral cities. By taking these cities they will get extra troops and gold from events.

10)Schlieffen plan expires on turn 2, regardless if Reims is taken or not.

11)Event files compiled into 2 different files.

12)Bonus for winning battles (ie destroying the Somme, Verdun or Caporetto units) include a major monetary penalty for the enemy and a free machine gun and 77mm every turn afterward.

Scott's post:

MC, you didn't extend the western front fortification line all the way down to Switzerland. There is still a gap there.

Below are just minor nitpicks that I should have thought up and pointed out earlier, but didn't.

The Austrian-Italian front is still off a bit. The fortification line should run up from Trieste, east, and then down, to Trento, and then northwest until it touches the impassable units that shelter and surround the Bolshevik city.

As another minor nitpick, Venice is too far to the west, and to force the Italians to defend that pocket between Trieste and Trento, you should put another Italian city in there (Udine?).

There are also several open unit slots. These might be good for things like Serbian infantry, Rumanian infantry, Greek infantry, and even Belgian infantry (would be wiped out in the initial attack). Another possibility might be a flamethrower unit. That could replace the German infantry in the partisan slot, that way it could excel at killing machine guns.
