^In 1895, the second Cuban revolution began, lead by a Cuban named
^Jose Marti. Having rallied support in New York, his rebellion became
^quite powerful. It was largely in the eastern Oriente province, but
^quickly spread as Jose Marti's troops began a quite successful guerilla
^campaign. Three years later, America began a very short war with Spain,
^which resulted in America's territorial aquesition of Puerto Rico, Guam,
^and the Philippines, stretching the American empire from the western
^antilles to south eastern Asia. Also, for the next 50 or so years, the
^United States had huge influence in Cuba. As Spain, can you maintain your
^remaining colonies as both the "ever faithful isle" and the Philippines
^rebel and keep off the Americans too (with a little help from the
^Germans)? As the Cuban Patriots, can you take back l'Isle de Cuba from
^the Spanish after 400 years of occupation with American help, but maintain
^an independant nation in the face of America's rising imperialist policies?
^The war that began the "American Century" is in your hands...
^
^Recommended: Spanish Royalists, Cuban Patriots
^Maybe: British, Germans, Americans (I doubt it will be very good though)
^Not to play: Neutrals
