For last, create a subfolder named 'Guide' (under 'SCW') and unzip 'GCEGuide.zip' there.

2. Starting

Run the 'GCE.bat' batch file, and select the option desired.
NOTE: For Windows XP users, you MUST have 'Choice.com' file. It is available in the ZIP file.

The batch file.

Run Civilization II MGE, select 'Begin Scenario' and then the 'GCE.scn' file in the folder you created.

3. Scenario Features

The science development has been replaced by 'Gold'. This represents the agreements made by the sides in exchange of foreign reinforcements and equipment. The Republica sent Spain's gold reserves to Moscow in exchange of massive supplies sent by the U.S.S.R., and the Nationalists received from their allies credits (5 billion lires from Italy and 495 million ReichMarks from Germany), also 25 million $ from the Texas Oil Company (TEXACO).
In this scenario, increasing the Gold 'developement' means the arrival of foreing reinforcements for each side in Barcelona, Valencia and Cartagena for the Republica and Cádiz and Sevilla for the Nationalists.

Some of the available reinforcements fot the Nationalists.

The Scenario also features a complete set of units custom-made for it.

Three game modes: Single player (Republican and Nationalist), and Multiplayer, specially made for HotSeat games and PBEM games.
NOTE:You will need the 'LazyCiv' utility in PBEM games for saving your city production (if not, the IA will change it when the turn finishes).

This is a pure tactical scenario, no empire-development.
