Notes for PlayTesters

This reveals just a little bit of the plot, so you can read this AFTER you playtest if you prefer. Especially if you plan to play more than a few turns. See ReadMe1.txt before you play.

********************************************************************

I wrote and tested this on Civ2MGE. Probably it works on FW too. The acid test for FW will be this: after you take the city of Jerida (possibly by turn 5 or so) you should get a text message about 3-4 turns later about Kordava. If not, please let me know!

As of 8/8/03, I have tested it pretty well thru about 100 turns (out of the allotted 150), which is enough time to capture 3 or 4 new objectives [Kordava, Belverus, Python, and Arenjun]. If you are interested in going that far, you might go a bit further south to Yimsha, which is probably the most novel objective in the scenario. You could even "Cheat" to build up some force there quickly, if you want to try it out. The other 3 objectives are in place, but not well-tested yet.

The scenario ought to be fairly challenging in terms of military strategy, advances, and in finding clever ways to take the objectives. Yours is a warrior nation, so it should be rather hard to get any real spying, naval or magical abilities. Certain objectives (eg Kordava, Python, and Yimsha) should be hard to get by brute force. Please tell me if you find anything too frustating or too easy. [or boring, or annoying, etc].

I am trying some unusual things with the events.txt file and with distant areas of the map. These should be invisible to players, so please tell me if you notice anything that seems way out of place.

If you compare the ReadMe1 with a very careful playtest, you might notice the scenario is not quite done. Well, I am very open to suggestions, and hope to work some more on it soon.

Thanks for your help !!!!
