4. Ships

Round cards that are moved on the board and played from the deck are ships. Each ship has his own stats that are marked on the card's top. Some ships have gold star that means special abilities. List of special abilities for each ship will be available soon. Production cost and specials are not marked on the card, so you need special list to know it.

Stats
Frigate
Here is the ship. You can see that it has 2 hit points (heart), 3 defence (shield), two attack (orange ball) and average strength of 4(box on the top).
If ship's speed is not specified it's two. Speed is amount of cells that ship can move each turn (see more in board rules section) Health is how much damage needed to destroy the ship.
Defence increases probablity of blocking the hit.
Large Attack gives better chance to hit an enemy
Average strength is how strong the ship is. Take it into account while editing your deck. If you are facing an opponent of the same rating you should make summ of strengthes in your decks equal. Give more strength to your opponent if he's weaker.
Specials change the normal way of combat and give it some advanteges. It may be regeneration, double damage, improved shield etc.

Combat
Simple battle is battle of two ships one of them is (A)ttacker and the second is (D)efender. In the beginning of the battle attacking players rolls dice to get random number from 1 to 6. This number isadded to ships attack. Forb example if you get 3 attacking with frigate you'll get 5. Next (D) rolls dice. The result is added to the defence. For example if defending frigate got 4 the defence is 7. Now compare these number. 7 < 5 and the defenders resists the hit. Now attacker is defending and (D) is attacking. They roll dice and if the attack+dice is greater than defence+dice the ship recives one damage point (DP). Next phase begins and attacker is attacking again. If one of the ships recieves number of DPs equal to his helth it's destroyed.
If one of ships has combat specials some minor changes are possible. For example space amoeba in case of successful defence restores one DP.
You can attack the defender with few ships. Just attack it by your ships "one by one". If there is an attack on target that already defended itself this turn the defenders start with his old DPs.
