AU102 Killer AI

4000BC: Built Washington at the starting location, start researching Ceremonial Burial @100% science.

3950BC-3500BC: Three goody huts, three maps??!? I built two more scouts and hope to find something better soon.

3450BC: 4th hut deserted.

3100BC: 6th hut another map, 5th was 25 gold. No science so far, the ratio stinks!

2900BC: Granary is built. Now settlers.

2800BC: I finally find the Egyptians, only to receive the only extra tech they have (Bronce Working) in my 7th hut in the same turn...

2670BC: 8th hut and 25 gold again

2630BC: 9th hut gives me warrior code, which the Egyptians just got this turn. I shoud have read that thread about goody hut probabilities more thoroughly...

2430BC: Met the Iroqois, no new techs

90AD: My Galleon finds the Indians, I can buy contact with the Germans & Chinese for tech

190AD: The first palace extension!!!

600AD: Kahwanake flips and I get my first military unit!!

620AD: Cherbourg flips

630AD: Education renders the Great Library obsolete, I'll have to research myself now. I decided to go for diplomatic victory, since cultural seems impossible against Iroquois and Egypt

700AD: Beat to the Sistine Chapel by one turn by the French :(

740AD: Sun Tzu and Copernicus built in one turn: I didn't even have Astronomy yet...

830AD: Finally on another continent! During the German-Chinese wars some open territory was created. I gain wine and horses once my borders expand.

840AD: Egypt declared war on me!!!! I guess I didn't pay enough attention to them, even though I was pretty sure that everybody was polite... Hm, do I give up now? I manage to get alliances with Iroquois and French - that might just save me. My capital is guarded by a single legionary, will it be eonugh? And how do you fight a war without troops? I position most of my workers around my cities. If I'm lucky I can draw some troops away. I just have to hold out until the Egyptian homeland is crushed from all sides by my allies.

India is annoyed as well but there isn't that much that I can give them. Hm, some gold per turn? That might keep them happy and is relatively low risk.:)

920AD: I'm losing cities but are surviving so far. Am I allowed to pillage with my scout? Hm, for now I decide against it...

930AD: Egypt comes to the negotiating table, at last. I break two alliances and settle for 160 Gold. My diplomatic relationships are probably all screwed. Still I survived the first war..

1490AD: The next war: China didn't like my expansion efforts on their continent. The only problem is, that I lost all of my wine and one iron, which I traded to the Germans. So, again, lots of broken treaties...

1540AD: Peace with the Chinese and the Iroquois declare war in the same turn, take Richmond. Arggggg.

1580AD: Peace with the Iroquois, a total of three cities lost, one already regained through flip, the others starved to death so I might not get them back.

1585AD: Hoover Dam triggers Golden Age. Now *that's* timing... :)

1595AD: 3K Gold, Radio 6 turns away @100% science, Palace build time in New York 10 turns. I might *just* make it.

1710AD: Egypt killed. Diplo might be problematic now, since everybody hates me...

1756AD: United Nations built but can't vote, everybody is furious...

1778AD: France gets 2 techs and 2K Gold and still furious ?!? No Diplo victory for me in this game

1804AD: Palace relocated to the frontier. If I want to get a flip, that's the only way to go.

1816AD: Lucky break, the Iroquois have 81 GPT to spare for my andvanced ecology methods. I just hope I wont bankrupt them.

1834AD: One final flip, now in the all out race to Laser. I will be late but hope that the Indians are slow building the spaceship. I can't afford to spy since a war now would be a *very* bad idea.

1838AD: Doh!! India researched Advanced flight instead of Laser, giving me the chance to catch up. Igot 200 GPT in various deals, giving me enought to make it to Laser.

1846AD: India finally got the Laser. I can buy it but if they were human than this would be it.

1848AD: Space Race victory (China and India were close, missing one part each), score 3020, unimpressive. I made several *major* mistakes, including a stupid expansion on another continent and not securing my own. Well, this is about learning and we all know Aeson is the master anyway... ;)
