This program is able to convert scenarios designed for Civ2:MGE to Civ2:FW compatible versions.
Scenario format in MGE and FW are quite similar (they're almost identical!) and this is not a surprise since MGE was "FW with MultiPlayer" and so no big changes were expected in scenario section; MGEConverter gets a SCN file for MGE and changes it slightly to make it works with FW.
I don't know if converted scenarios are identical to MGE (really speaking i don't have FW nor MGE so i can't check it deeply) but i tried converted scenarios on a friend's copy of FW and they worked fine so i think it will work for you also ;)

-Civ2:FW (quite obvious...)

(1)INSTALL MGECONVERTER
MGEConverter zip archive consists of a single file MGEConverter.exe (and this readme.txt obviously), put it in a directory you like and you've done.

(2)SYNOPSIS
MGEConverter <FileScenario>
where <FileScenario> is the name of the MGE scenario to convert to FW.
IMPORTANT:When you use MGEConverter the MGE SCN file is overwritten by the FW version, so if , for some reason, you want to keep the MGE version you've to backup it before lauching MGEConvertor

(3)HOW TO USE THE CONVERTER
You can use the converter in two ways:
-DOSPrompt: Simply change directory to MGEConverter and use MGEConverter as descibed at (2)
-Windows: Simply drag the scn file to convert on MGEConverter icon and drop it

(4)WHICH FILES MGECONVERTER MODIFY?
MGEConverter modify the SCN file AND the Label.txt file (if one is present), no other file is modified since scenarios i've tested worked smoothly with original MGE files except for labels.txt and, obviously, SCN file.

(5)FUTURE VERSIONS? NO!
I've done this program because i discovered it could be done easily and because Blackclove (http://sleague.apolyton.net/) asked me for a such thing, but since i don't own FW i'm not interested in developing it further, so don't expect future versions (but this is not a great problem since i think that this version is enough stable).
Anyway, if someone wants to develop further this program he can e-mail me and i'll be glad to send him source-code of MGEConverter (it's Visual C++ code, even if i think it uses only standard ANSI C++ calls)

Well, this work is based heavily on discoveries i've done working on CivConverter so all credits of CivConverter are applicable here;
