CIV OVERVIEW
------------

Firtly you must be aware of the limitations and possibilities of each civ. To begin with, each civ can build unique units and many units are exclusive. Each nations has its special infantry units and many other units.

RUSSIA
Russia has the special "Cossack" unit. These units never become obsolete and can only be buily by Russians. The Russian armies are slow and underequipped, but the Cossacks have a movement of 3 points and are the height of the battlefield early in the scenario. However, it must be researched.
The Russian modern infantry is slow, has a weak defensive point but a higher offensive points. They cost half than the rest of the worlds and never become obsolete. They can only be built by the Russians.
The Russians start out with contentment problems and their technology and productivity is minimal. To reflect the corruption of the Russian court, the Russians coffers are reduced every now and again. At first, Russia was large and weak and is harassed right from start by the disloyal Cossacks in the south and east. Expansion into Turkey and the Balkans is possible.

AUSTRIA
Austria is at the heigth of its power, but it is in decline. Prussia wishes to submit her into her leadership and as time goes by her power decreases as she has one of the weakest advanced infantry units. Their empire is large and expansion into the southern Balkans and Greece is possible. However, it is an unindustrialised nation and with a stunted technology, like Russia.

PRUSSIA
Prussia has the most powerful land army throughout the game. Later they can build Panzer Tanks, one of the best land attack units in the modpack. Additionally, their infantry is the best in the game, with highest attack and defensive bonus, but they are not unbeatable. They lead the weapons technology with the Prussian War Academy (Sun Tzu's) and the Krupp Industries (Leo's) however, the country is moderately industrialised except for the Rhinelands which are heavily industrialised.
However, funds can be acquired throught the conquest and annexation of the German cities of the confederation. However, further expansion than that of modern Germany is made impossible by diplomatic ties that trigger events.

NEUTRO-GERMAN CONFEDERATION
This civ is not meant to be played, it is merely there to provide a further civ to be at war with and get rich for the Prussians as they unify, however, they are a democracy and they jump technologically and monetarily.
They have the weakest and most insignificant landarmies throughout.

FRENCH REPUBLIC
The French Republic is large, has colonies in north Africa but is unindustrialised and peaceloving. Under the Republic, her armies cannot grow to a too large extent but are of significant importance in the early stages of the game. However, their infantry units have the same weakneses that the Russians have and cost double. They can build the Lgion Etrnger, but they are expensive and are by far the best defensive infantry unit in the game.

BRITISH EMPIRE
The British Empire has the largest and most powerful active navy in the world. England is also the most heavily industrialised nation of Europe but her land army is small. As she progresses she has the second best advanced infantry and in the sky she is unbeaten. Through research she can build Flak 8.8s and Spitfires Mk XIV, the best fighter unit in the game. But added to this they are the only nation that can develop the Dowding Air Defense System (SAM Missile Battery) which makes an air assault on Britain virtually impossible.

KINGDOM OF ITALY
Recently unified, the Kingdom of Italy is still fighting for recognition and for Venetia. The Austrians are her mortal enemy and she is trying to drive them back through the Alps. The Italians have a weak army at first and are backward and unindustrialised but as progress goes on they are the third nation leading in technology thanks to the Papal Library. As time goes on her armies grow and she becomes a power.

SPECIAL UNIT CASES

The Secret Agent unit was added to provide further gameplay. This unit can only perform some of the diplomat's actions and is invisible to most units as it is a submarine. Very few units can spot secret agents.

The map is mine own too, and I know you'll think it horrible, but it serves its purpose well.
