Resources

Colonization has 16 resources. Eight of them can be acquired from the nature, 6 of them can be made in the colony, one of them can only be gained through trade, and one must be obtained once. The following table contains the resources.

Furs Used to produce coats. Fur trappers
Lumber Needed to build buildings, ships and wagon trains. Lumberjacks
Ore Can be converted into tools. Ore miners
Silver Sell it to Europe. Silver miners
Horses Equip Soldiers with horses to make Dragoons.
Scouts are colonists with horses.
Must be obtained form Europe at the first time.
Can be bred from two or more horses with extra food.
Rum Sell it to make profit. Distillers working in a distillery converts sugar to rum.
Cigars Sell it to make profit. Tobacconists turn tobacco into cigars.
Cloth Sell it to make profit. Weavers make cloth out of cotton.
Coats Sell it to make profit. Fur traders make them from furs.
Trade Goods Trade it with the Natives in the beginning. Can be bought cheep from Europe.
Tools Tools are used by pioneers to modify the terrain.
Tools are also required for some constructions.
They can also be converted into muskets.
Blacksmiths convert ore to tools.
Muskets Equip your colonists with muskets to make soldiers. Made out of tools by gunsmiths in armories.
