A scenario by The Immortal Wombat
______________________________________

As far as I know, this is the first One City Challenge for CTP2.

The scenario is exactly as the name suggests, a game where you only have one city. There is no way for the human player to build settlers, urban planners, or sea engineers, and any conquered city is destroyed. The other civilisations will hate you from the start, so you will find it very difficult to win by alliances and with one city, it should be almost impossible to win by building the Gaia controller. To win, you must conquer your opponents.
The other additional features of this scenario are that settlers cannot move over mountains, and advance costs are halved. The restriction on settlers is so that the AI stays closer to home, and the advances costs makes for a faster game, as with one city, even Renaissance costs were too much...

--------------------------------------
SLIC - for those who care

1) Stop the building of settlers for player 1
2) Destroys any cities captured by player 1
3) Prevents spies belonging to player 1 from causing revolts
4) Prevent all gifts of cities
5) Make the opponents really hate you.

INSTALLATION
Easy enough, unzip into your scenarios directory. The file structure should be in place.
Make sure you use the MedMod version if you are using the MedMod in your default file-structure.
--------------------------------------

Feel free to distribute this scenario, post it on your webpage etc, and use any of the SLIC for your own scenarios.
If you have ny suggestions, comments, or complaints, drop me a line at weaver1@tinyworld.co.uk, or post in the CTP2-Creation/Mods/Scenarios forum at http://apolyton.net/forums

There is also a thread at Apolyton where you can post your high score on this scenario. Can you beat other players to a fastest win, highest score or attempt an alliance or science victory?

Have fun...
