Cool, I will now know which building I want to visit.

Inspired by the Skyscrapers thread.
Attached is a pic of my "neighborhood". I live in the building that has the red arrow on it.
(Edit : The city is Ashdod, 40km southern of Tel Aviv, Israel)

Trajanus: no this is not Tel Aviv. this is Ashdod, some 40 (?) kms to the south. It also has great developement potential, since it's on a flat plain near the sea. ( unlike my city ).

I live in Ashdod.Originally posted by Trajanus

Tel Aviv is an ugly, brown, unplanned, crowded city.
Ashdod is a beautiful, white and blue, spacious city.![]()

The brown-white building at the lower part of the pic is also a synagogue(or something similar).

No. It's because Tel Aviv is mostly unplanned. The streets in the city center(or at least, what was the city center) are waaaay too narrow.Originally posted by Azazel

Lonestar:WOW! Where does this bridge lead?
Why is the sky so brown, Lonestar? It's not that way here in Knoxville...![]()

Its a Jewish community center. As I said, there is a very large Jewish community in my immidiate neighborhood, several Schools and community centers. Yeshiva University is nearby.

It's an amazing site to drive into Diego and see a couple of aircraft carriers parked in the harbor.
Also that bridge has "suicide hotline" signs posted every 20 yards or so.
