  • Greetings from Reykjavik

For the few people that may have noticed I wasn´t here this last week: I´m getting suntanned in Reykjavik

Today´s the last day, tomorrow it´s back to dreary Holland

Best part of Reykjavik: the netcafe where I´m typing this is located in Reykjavik's City Hall and totally free! Seriously, Reykjavik is one swinging city...

Okay, talk to y'all later when I´m back home.

    Strange signs on Icelandic keyboards: Ö ö Ð ð Æ æ Þ þ

    See you...
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
    Once again...

Come on, Holland's not so bad. At least beer doesn't cost the equivalent of £5 a pint there.

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Given the choice, I'd prefer Holland to Iceland.

Less volcanoes and earthquakes seem a clincher to me.

Not to mention the fantastic muscle tone of Dutch backsides from all that cycling due to the lack of volcanoes and earthquakes.

I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday, but admit it - would you really want to live there full time?

                      Ah, Reykjavik girls...

And no, I don't see me living there, but switching from Iceland during summer and Jamaica in the winter? I really, really wish I was rich...
