Why do so many Africans have AIDS?

Anyway, is all of Africa so afflicted? Would most of the money go to the rich arabs? No, I'd guess not as they wouldn't need a hand out because there's so many oil rich nations there.

So this money would be basicly earmarked for sub saharan africa. But why? Why is there such a vast problem there in particular? Is it because aids came from a cave in africa or something like that? Monkey bites? No that's just ebola, right?

So why so much aids in africa and not in say, Bangla Desh? or China or the Philippines?

Caligastia, I don't recall seeing rubbers for sale in the Phils. I doubt people in Bangla Desh, China, or India can afford them...yet we're not bailing them out...

che, it started there...that makes sense. However it does not bode well for the rest of the poor nations of the world if Africa is the pattern. "It started there" would indicate to me that once aids has as much time in other places the result will be the same disaster...yes? If the population is truly falling! Well I'm just amazed.

It does not require people to have sex with monekys. This shows a major lak of imagination upon your part. There is nothing alleged about HIV having come from other primates. HIV II is identical to Simian Inmunodeficiancy Virus, and HIV I is identical to a a virus found in green monkeys.

How did they get transmitted to humans? Easy, bush meat. Monkeys and chimps are food animals, and it's very easy to accidentally get infected material in a cut. Once introduced into new organisms which don't have defenses against the virus it begins to spread. Once it reaches a certain critical mass, it explodes.
