For now, it seems like it should be huts/babarians, but not too many of those (Does everybody agree with this?)
As for AI's, it seems like we should use them to fill the empty spots (Does everybody agree here? Which spots should they have then? And how about Conquer, does he pick a Civ for himself, or should we just pick some Civ for him?)

I think the playing order should be according to our timezones. So that we can play two turns, one in the morning and one in the evening.
A simplified example :
Player #1 from Australia plays in his morning.
Player #2 from Singapore.
Player #3 from Israel.
Player #4 from Sweden.
Player #5 from the US east coast.
Player #6 from the US west coast.
When player #6 is done, it's evening in Australia and player #1 is back from work and can play the evening turn.
Now, this is of course not that simple and easy, since we have players from similar timezones, but you get the point.
