Which Civs should be added after PTW?

hebrews, okay , same for incan, and i believe mali-songhai is okay, but the guy went to Mecca, not Mexico on his pilgrimage... Llech Walesa, led solidarity but not midieval period that uu [which i've seen around] comes from perhaps Ladislas Jagiello instead? maya is okay but i believe having incas and aztec might bump them... besides lack of leader... but i thiunk they're okay [demand for netherlands might further that bump] i like polynesian is good choice, but on polys and hebrews, the uu - i haven't seen either one. but i'd like either one!

the merkava is great for modern israel but some have questioned its historical greatness versus i suppose ancient judea that gave us monotheism. [arabia did not originate this but borrowed from cousins the hebrews]

i would like for somebody to actually make a slinger unit and add both slinger and merkava to them.
but germany and and us have disadvantage by having uu occur so late in game...

i also would like to download a polynesian double canoe too...

Forgive me if this message seems redundant (if someone brought it up earlier in the thread), but don't y'all think that the power of the Aztecs, Americans and Iroquois are a little unbalanced? And why the hell are the Americans put with the Iroquois and Aztecs? They should be put with the Europeans, ne c'est pas?

I do hope that someone, somewhere, adds some more American civs, but I hope that they are based on modern countries... Columbia and Brazil would be great, Cuba of course, etc., etc.

Incas, Scots, Dutch, Portugese, Huns, Byzantines, Mali/Ghana, Khmers. Perhaps the Maya in place of one, but their leaders are largely unknown.

one VERY important civ sometimes gets mentioned, but i always forget their name. it's an african civ in present day ethiopia...

Uh, it's true, the Mongols were pretty brutal... but AFTER Gengiz they killed out a little bit, and Kublai had a fairly learned, if not very united, empire...

As for Ethiopia, it is an ancient culture, well deserving of civ-membership in my opinion. It's history is fascinating and it has both conquered and been conquered.

But maybe you're thinking of what was right north of Ethiopia... Nubia. A rich expanionist empire.

Both Ethiopia and Nubia would be great additions in my opinion... anyone else agree?

Portugal. Definitely. Without Portugal, there would be no Brazil. And Israel ought to be added. They are a very important part of history. And the Incas ought to be there too. I mean, without them the Aztecs could expand right into South America with nothing to stop them (I played a world-map game with correct starting locations once), and even though the Spanish conquered the Incas (easier than the Atecs, certainly) they still stirke me as an important civilization.
Cadana or Australia separate civs? Why not? Well, the Iriquois took up Canada in one game I played, but Australia as a civ? Hmm. Have you guys even considered that Australia was originally an English prison colony?

Yeah, those Canucks and those Aussies don't deserve their own Civ!

Seriously, prejudice slurs aside, I'd say that neither of those countries truly warrant their own Civ, due to their consistent subservience too, even after independence, Britain. We could argue this point of course, but they're part of the same market bloc and (generally) endorse the same foreign policy (although Canada is notably more pacifist than either Britain or Australia).

The Aborigonies, though, that's an idea...

Sorry, I was just trying to make sure I wasn't seen as bigoted, because I'm not. Any country that can produce boomerangs and Crocodile Dundee, in my opinion, is very cool. Same goes for Canada, which gave us Hockey, and in the case of my home state, gave Phoenix the Coyotes. Canada is cool.

Australia WAS a prison colony. Maybe that's why they're so hot on kicking immigrants out of their country, exterminating the aborigonies, etc. Actually, Australia might be an interesting country to include... militaristic and industrious? There's only one so far... maybe militaristic and commercial?
