            • On my holidays, I went to New Zealand. And I saw:

              Ancient forests

              Steaming volcanic vents

              Purty Golden Beaches

              Glaciers

              Lagoons & Lakes

              Mountains

              Penguins

              Did I mention the beaches?

              'twas most excellent.

                  • No need for me to post NZ pics then.

On the look of it, you were on both islands?

Yep. I had two months, so I had time to see everything I wanted to.

Barinthus, the reason there are no kiwi pictures, is mostly because they're nocturnal, and partly because taking pictures of any wildlife is a hit-and-miss affair, and so none of them made it into the top 90 pictures there. (I have another 400 or so I didn't upload!)

                            • Nice pics IW

I know you worked the whole gap year, but 2 months in NZ and the time in Madagascar must have cost a packet! Looks impressive though

Not that I'm at all jealous, having gone out so much that I still have a small debt left after my gap year
