  • AI road square?

Does a mil. unit on an AI road square to their capital, cutoff resource sharing to their other cities?

Wondering if I can strategically place defensive units on their roads to cutoff cities from being able to get resources.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I don't think you can, but if you already have units on their roads, why don't you just pillage them?

Can only mil. units pillage? If so, what is the keystroke. Thanks.

One downside to pillaging comes after you have adopted the once enemy city into your own empire. Now you have to clean up the mess you own units made of the place!

I much prefer the citizens of any given metropolis to merely hand over the key to the city and adopt me as their newly chosen Lord-on-High. It's much more...sanitary.

Yes, if you are at war with the civ, then your combat unit will block trade/resources from passing through the square it is on.

If all the cities are connected to the resource they get it, even if it doesnt go to the capital.

I know, I tested it on my own empire
