yes I read the manual. most of it was worthless for an experienced civ player. but I found a few tidbits of usefullness in it.
Can't build city on mountain. Couldn't in Civ2 either, but.....?
Manual says ALL terrain squares (xcept ocean probably ?), guess this is not so after all ?
(or does the readme.txt say something ? not home right now, and don't remember....)

In civ2 you could build cities on mountains...jeez you Apolytoners...last time I had to correct someone that in civ2 caravans cost 50 shields not 40...
