  • what about the air transport!?

sorry if Firaxis has already stated about this unit we all want, I have been behind in the news lately.

what about the air transport unit? ever since I came to apolotyn about 2 years ago, nearly everyone has said YES to the question:

Do you want air transport units?

Well, I just want to know if it will be included in civ3. again I apologize if this has already been 'officially' covered. If its not been said, I suggest to firaxis to put this new unit into the game real quick, cause I want it, and I think alot of other people (if not most) want it.

but naturally, Firaxis doesn't have to listen to me at all. its there choice. I garuntee you though (speaking directly to Firaxis)...if you put the unit in, your gonna have alot of happy fans.

Yes, this is what I have heard also.

If I can find the name/type of unit the air-transport is, I will post it here.

      :searching:

Ok, found this on a previous thread:

Helicopter 0.4.4 (can transport 2 units)
      Available in the Modern Era

and AFAIK= As Far As I Know

I hope that's not the only air transport. There should be some type of carge plane that can carry more than 2 units. I also wonder if they can go long range like over an ocean or if it's meant only for short range operations.

That is one of the two abbreviations people never seem to figure out.
