Tho im a little upset, i guess i must kindly accept it.

We cannot get out of our damaging situation. If you take a look on the map. You will Greece. No rivers, Forests, or lush green lands like Vikland. Greece is the largest empire on the game, but she is spread thin like that of a rubber band and could snap at any time. we beg the Vikland leader. Do not be so cheap with your gifts. We are your anceint friends and allies and have battled barbarians and settled together...

will you not help a weak friend anymore? We are in no shape to attack/threatin anyone. We do praise your offer tho.

However, the knowledge of philosphy does very little to get me out of my scientific situation. Building academies will only up maintence cost, which drains from the Greek Treasury and will not help in the long run... (Gold is better for science, not city improvements)

We just found the vikings, if they accept the map exchange I guess we can see where are you, as soon as we can a package of aids will be send to you:

- Agricultural revolution (actually a gift to the Romans if you meet them ask for it

)
- Banking
- Medicine

We expect from you some cheaps trade rutes, agree?

Greece is willing to work out a free trade agreement that gives you access to all greek goods at VERY low prices. In exchange we beg for an advance every now and then

As for the turn rate

, I can only sit back in utter amazement. I got 2 turns today!!

As for the Vikings, if they continue this (as they enslaved the same city this turn), seroius consideration of retaliation maybe considered..

Greece is poor, but occupys nearly 2/3 of the northern map. But we are spread out and in desparate need of science. The suffering of our impovershid people cannot be overstated. Whilst we built Caravans and banks and cannot afford to build Phalanx t defend ourselves against what now appear to be hordes of Viking musketeers probably assembling near Trondhiem

God help us all !
