Is there as much hectic running in ST:Beyond as in the first two "new" ST movies?

Saw the movie this weekend with my daughter. It was just like the old TV shows. Plot was a tad lame but it's all about the character interactions.
You once again are reminded about just how well they casted the new crew.
And again the best exchanges are between Bones and Spock. Quite entertaining.
And I'm hoping the new girl joins the crew.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Isn't that the same one that also played in Shaun of the Dead?
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "He has fallen in battle and I must take him to the Einherjar in Valhalla"
