I don't think it's unreasonable for somebody to believe that their spouse isn't a rapist
True, just as it's not unreasonable to label his paramours 'sluts'. She's also not a reliable source concerning his dalliances.

I'm not able to empathize with her situation - I could maybe understand her lashing out in anger at the women her husband was sleeping with, but I couldn't understand directing that much anger towards the women and not saving enough anger towards Bill to divorce him. Meh.

Hard to divorce when you value fame and you'd be a nobody without him. Mrs. Bill Clinton is all she's ever been.

Bill made the promise, not one of the several women.

Especially since she's a feminist. Feminists are sort of suppose to be against that kind of thing.

It's sort of like victim blaming when you don't blame the perpetrator. Any kind of blame shifting is a type of victim blaming.

The BBC's Jon Sopel looks at Donald Trump's playbook, and how so-called "establishment" Republicans are cosying up to the bombastic businessman.

A fatalistic resignation seems to be settling in among the Republican elites. They hate both Trump and Cruz but are admitting it will likely be one of those two unless they can get all the other candidates to drop out and unify around one less crazy candidate. That seems unlikely though as we are dealing with people who have massive egos.

No. Count up all the support that all of the RINOs are getting. The RINOs are not going to win the primaries. We are sick of the RINOs.

There's what, 35 percent of the vote out that's not Cruz or Trump? I suppose that's enough for one candidate, but who would it be? Rubio?

                      Why do they hate Cruz?

I don't understand how someone could hate Donald and support Cruz, since Cruz's policies are whatever Donald said last. I will give the republican establishment credit for not distinguishing between the two in their attacks against them.

I haven't paid attention to anything Cruz has said.

I expected that from Dashi, but I thought you at least tried to maintain a reputation here, while you aren't watching Donkey shows.

                                Hiya, just a brief update:

Trump’s fans tend to express little regard for political norms. They cheer at his most outlandish statements. O’Reilly asked Trump if he meant it when he said that he would “take out” the family members of terrorists. He didn’t believe that Trump would “put out hits on women and children” if he were elected. Trump replied, “I would do pretty severe stuff.” The Mesa crowd erupted in applause. “Yeah, baby!” a man near me yelled. I had never previously been to a political event at which people cheered for the murder of women and children.
Insiders loathe them; voters love them. Who will decide the future of the G.O.P.?

Let me just remind you that we are counting on this man being defeated by either a literal godless socialist or the single most hated woman in America.
