The proposal of Justice Minister to allow gay couples to adopt priests has caused an uproar


According to him, gay couples should be permitted to adopt priests and, if they manage, they should be allowed to adopt children as well.

As the minister declared there will be a pilot program first, where a gay couple of men and a gay couple of women will adopt two archibishops.

Peter and george will adopt archbishop anthem and maria and sofia archbishop ambrosios


If the two gay couples manage to give anthem and abrosios the love they lack - and manage to turn them into proper human beings of society - then gay couples will be allowed to adopt children.

My personal opinion on the matter is that the state has an obligation of equality for all its citizens.
It is also obliged to not discriminate on the basis of a variety of things among which sexual orientation.
The right of unions is also recognized.

Thus 1+2+3= full unions for all members

It is really pathetic that while the overall votes were overwhelmingly in favor of gay unions, a small percentage of the right voted in favor. And they want to get back to power.
They don't realize society's dynamics and they are incapable of any kind of change.

Of course everything was heard in the parliement including some guy named Nick Katsikis ( his last name means literally goat) claiming tsomething about homosexuality and bestiality being the same, to which a member of an opposing party answered: the only instance where this connection would be true is if some gay man slept with you mr goat.

The whole thing has concrete practical issues:
visits to hospitals, inheritance, social security etc etc It's not just symbolic.

Of course that brings us to another issue about unions and rights and inheritences.

See, your theories go into specifics like exact age or contraceptive or being fertile. I'm talking from a purely scientific, biological standpoint. Having sex with someone of an opposite gender and reproductive age is normal. It's all programmed by instincts, and instincts aren't exactly smart, so they can't discern if someone is infertile or of a slightly wrong age. Gender or wrong spieces, however, is obvious to everyone - that's where instincts completely fail, and it isn't normal.
