  • 2016 NBA Season

Well, nothing new on Bulls front - once again Rose is injured to start the season, though they think he may be back for the opener. They also have Dunleavy out 8-10 weeks. Not a good start to season again.

At media day the other day, Rose is asked about the sexual harassment suit pending against him and somehow during the answer he said how he is looking forward to free agency and how he has to figure out how to handle the generational money he is getting.

I heard later that he said he doesn't want to leave the Bulls, but he should know fans don't want to hear him talking about generational money. Once again he opens his mouth and inserts his foot. Bulls should know by now not to trot him out in front of media. Just shut up and play!!!

    It's now Butler's team.

      The big difference.
Rose trying to save his body for after he finishes playing with the Bulls or for the NEXT BIG CONTRACT (whichever comes first).
Noah, will accept role on the bench saying, "whatever is best for the team to win".

One needs to pay someone to tell them what they should say when opening their mouth, the other doesn't.

The saddest part of it all is that Rose thinks he will get a NEXT BIG CONTRACT. To go anywhere near him, one would think teams's would make sure his contract would be heavy on playing time requirements.

If he continues to go 8 for 22 like he did last night, NO BIG CONTRACT FOR YOU.

While he can blame double vision for part of it, that shooting percentage is what we've been used to from him lately.

I'd be careful too, if I was made of glass.

I do appreciate that it's difficult to live up to the standards set by MJ when it comes to doing whatever it takes to win.

But you need a whole team to win a championship. You only need yourself to build a brand and make money.

Rose is doing a crappy job on the brand building. He got his big endorsement deals and started saying really stupid stuff.

Should be a fun season regardless. Hoiberg brings an up-tempo transition attack rather than yet another boring post-up + defense approach.

Agreed, and it's nice to see a coach actually smile on the bench.

                          Didn't see this one coming:

The Cavaliers have fired head coach David Blatt, Y! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reported Friday afternoon. The stunning news comes just one day before the Bulls will travel to Cleveland to face the first-place Cavaliers, who lead the Eastern Conference with a 30-11 record. The Bulls, who trail the Cavs by six games, will play Cleveland three more times. Blatt went…

Wow. Spurs vs Warriors. Spurs could be a game behind the Warriors with a win.
Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.
